A little further afield are the oft forgotten lakes at Buttermere, Crummock and Loweswater, while Keswick is only 10 minutes away by car and offers so much from its traditional heritage to its interesting shopping and many festivals throughout the year, making Link House an ideal place to stay for the many thousands of visitors who come to the Lake District over an ever increasing season. Link House was acquired by the present owners in 2010 and they immediately set about a significant refurbishment of this delightful property. Both the owners and visitor s lounges have been completely refurbished, the breakfast room and conservatory have been refurbished and there has been significant upgrading of the letting bedrooms which have helped to achieve a Visit Britain 4 Star Silver rating. However, due to changing family circumstances, the owner has now decided to sell Link House. THE PROPERTY Link House is a lovely period late Victorian property built in traditional Lakeland-style with rendered walls and under a pitched slate roof.
