2 18TH NON TRADICIONAL PRODUCTS EXPO YUCATAN 2014 BACKGROUND BUSSINESS CENTER PARTICIPATION INSTRUCTIVE As part of the NTP s (Non Traditional Products) promotion strategy, we are pleased to inform you that SAGARPA and the Government State of Yucatan are organizing the 18TH NON TRADICIONAL PRODUCTS EXPO YUCATAN 2014 in August 19th and 21st 2014, at Centro de Convenciones Yucatán Siglo XXI. NTP S are know by their exotic or tropical origin, also for being differential products by their speciality, gourmets, nostalgic markets, organics, 4H distinctives and others. Privileged by its geographical position, Mexico is considered the 5th globally megadiverse country, and it is part of the group of nations possessing the largest number and diversity of animals and plants, almost 70% of global species diversity. Because of its variety of weathers, soils and altitudes, Mexico produces a wide range of NTP, many of them by their production, processing and consumption, reflecting Mexico s richness of cultural and traditions from its different regions. The type of support for Option 1 will be provided directly by PROMÉXICO and only applies to International Buyers from a foreign country. The type of support for Option 2 applies to domestic and international buyers and this support will be provided by the Organizing Committee of the Expo. The General Support will be provided in addition to either support options above mentioned. 1) Criteria for buyers participation in the BC: 1) Fill in the Pre-registration on website 2) The pre-registration of the Purchaser does not guarantee participation in the BC, since the information will be reviewed by PROMÉXICO in order to determine if their participation is feasible, according to the information provided and the characteristics of the participating producers. 3) Confirmation of registration will be subject to the product offering. 4) The agenda of each purchaser will be available online from August 1ft, ) Comply with the program of business appointments, meetings and schedules BC. 6) In the conclusion of business appointments attended, filling out a survey that shows the results of their participation in the BC. 7) Additional eligibility requirements determined by PROMÉXICO, which will be announced via when the record pre-registration is analyzed.

6 Cancellation Policy: I. The buyers shall be able to cancel their participation up to 30 days before the event, in other way PROMEXICO reserves the right of admission to future events. II. If the event is canceled for reasons beyond the Organizing Committee, PROMÉXICO won t be responsible for covering any expenses resulting from their participation in the event or related with the same.
