1 Malaysia s Official Food & Hotel Show 29 September - 2 October 2015 Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia Show Report FHM Breaking All Records Yet Again! FHM 2015 returned even bigger and better than before with a record 9 halls of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre taking up a total space of 17,000sqms. The space occupied by exhibitors was increased by an incredible 23% compared to the previous edition in 2013 cementing FHM s position as the Number One Food and Equipment exhibition in the country. International content was particularly impressive this year with 8 national pavilions from Fujian Province of China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey and the USA. In total, over 1,200 participating companies from 50 countries used FHM as a key component of their marketing strategy in the region. 22,759 trade visitors from 57 countries visited the show, breaking previous visitor records. The exclusive conference Optimising Revenue through Innovation by Aariana Hospitality International brought together international key decision makers and was attended by some 300 delegates. The speakers who hold reputable positions in the industry shared their thoughts on latest trends, insights and how to best optimise the revenue management practices within the hospitality industry. Malaysian Celebrity Chefs live cooking demonstrations by Chef Anis Nabilah and Chef Norman Musa made FHM 2015 even more exciting than before with their charms and skills in cooking. Indeed, both celebrity chefs were crowd pullers, their sessions were always packed with audience made up of interested visitors and aspiring culinary students. FHM 2015 was a success. 2 HAPPENINGS AT FHM 2015 Opening Ceremony Y Bhg Dato Haji Azizan Noordin, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia, who represented YB Dato Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz, Minister of Tourism and Culture officiated FHM 2015, followed by touring of the exhibition halls. Live Cooking Demonstrations Chef Anis Nabilah demonstrated delicious dishes using fresh ingredients from Pacific West Foods and Lucky Frozen. The self-taught and internationally recognised Chef Norman Musa conducted cooking demonstrations of local dishes using ingredients from exhibitors, Euro-Atlantic and Bestari. Culinaire Malaysia 2015 Talented chefs in action for the Malaysian Battle of The Chefs organised by Malaysian Association of Hotels. Wine Village For the first time ever in the FHM series of exhibitions, The Wine Village showcase organised by The Wine Academy was introduced as a show within a show feature. Wines brought in from Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, New Zealand & Singapore among others provided an excellent selection.

Networking Nite As a gesture of appreciation, the FHM 2015 s Organiser had organised a Networking Nite at CEDAR on 15, Impiana KLCC Hotel. The Networking Nite was specifically meant for the exhibitors to socialise and expand their networking for possible business opportunities. Food & Hotel Penang 2016 (FHP 2016) Soft Launch FHP 2016 was launched during FHM 2015 in conjunction with FHM 2015 Networking Nite. Norwegian Salmon 101 Workshop The Norwegian Seafood Council brings you the best from the cold, clear waters of Norway. The workshop featured Chef Pele Kuah and Chef Kenneth Loke who shared their expertise in the art of cooking this highly sought after fish.
