Continue to Breakfast Creek and around Newstead House then follow the river back to the upgraded Old Gasworks. Distance 6km with initially steep uphill and then mostly flat. THURSDAY 4 th 8 am - KANGAROO POINT, EAST BRISBANE CIRCUIT - Walk to Mowbray Park through the streets of Kangaroo Point and continue to Williamina Park (named after Mrs. Mowbray). Return through the streets of East Brisbane. Meet Thornton Street Ferry Terminal UBD Map 23 C 3 Transport Ferry departs 7.49 am Eagle Street Pier (departs every 10 minutes) RIVERSIDE CIRCUIT Cross the Goodwill Bridge through the City Gardens to Riverside and return via city streets.

Meet Wynnum Plaza, Plaza street end by the post boxes UBD Map 163 B 6 TUESDAY 9 th 8 am - CITY TO ASHGROVE - This walk follows the bikepath along Enoggera Creek through the parklands of Ashgrove, Newmarket, Wilston and Windsor. Distance 9.5 km mostly flat terrain Meet King George Square, City UBD Map 4 E 1 Transport Train, bus or ferry to the city Finish Stewart Place, corner Waterworks and Stewart Roads, Ashgrove ROMA STREET PARKLANDS Cross the Victoria Bridge and continue to Roma Street Parklands, returning via King George Square WEDNESDAY 10 th 10 am - BOONDALL WETLANDS - Experience the wonders of walking in the beautiful Boondall Wetlands through a paperbark forest, mixed eucalypt woodland and across salt marshes to view the birdlife on Nundah Creek. 4 TUESDAY 16 th 8.45 am - STRADBROKE ISLAND WALK take the boat to Stradbroke Island and enjoy short walks and breathtaking views. Reasonable level of fitness required. Extra money needed if catching bus on island to Point Lookout WEDNESDAY 17 th 8 am - SOUTH BANK TO NEW FARM PARK - Follow the path through South Bank Parklands and cross the Goodwill Bridge. Continue on the north bank of the river through the Botanic Gardens and along the quiet streets of New Farm. Meet South Bank at the Wheel of Brisbane Transport Train, bus or ferry to South Brisbane Finish New Farm ferry terminal SOUTH BANK CIRCUIT Walk through South Bank Parklands and Kangaroo Point. Cross Goodwill Bridge and continue on north side of river, returning via Victoria Bridge. THURSDAY 18 th 10 am - BANYO CIRCUIT walk through the streets of Banyo and Nudgee and around the Nudgee Waterhole. Read the historical signs on the jetty and follow a track to a Bora Ring. Other points of interest include the Nudgee Cemetery.
