1 Chuck in ya Towel is an initiative between Avra Velis, 139 Club and YOU to raise 10,000 items (10,000 towels & other assorted necessities) in an ongoing mission for the 139 Club to distribute and use for the homeless. You can bring your decent quality clean towels to any of our Laundry Baskets (drop off points). See page & Avra.Co website. By doing so, you are helping us make a difference for the homeless people in our city. Whatever you can do, whether big or small, everyone at the Chuck in ya Towel initiative is deeply appreciative. On behalf of all of us to you.. Thank you! Could your sports club spare unclaimed towels? Are you a Hair and Beauty salon with towels to spare? Do you work in or know someone in radio, TV or print media who could promote this drive? Could you talk a major department store or supermarket chain & others into donating some towels? Hotels, Spas & other places maybe have unwanted, uncollected towels? Maybe your Gym has loads of leftover towels that nobody has collected? Can your Church group, Synagogue, Temple or Mosque help organize a Laundry Basket?

It s truly wonderful that we have so many community focussed, People matter businesses. And this list is growing every day. Launch day started with c.450 towels and as of March 31st, we are at c.4,500 and counting! That s how amazing the heart warming response has been. But PLEASE DON T STOP, keep it all coming..
