4 Transfers If you arrive on 24/04/18 On arrival at Fiumicino or Ciampino Airport, please make your way to the arrivals hall, where you will be greeted by a hostess with PILOT signage who will escort you to your transfer. Please note that there maypilot be other European colleagues Meeting your 2018 transfer who have travelled on the same flight as you. The journey time to Hotel Parco dei Principi is approximately 45 minutes (depending on the traffic). If you arrive on another day You can take a taxi from the Taxi Station at Fiumicino or Ciampino Airport to Hotel Parco dei Principi. The journey time to Hotel is approximately 45 minutes from Fiumicino and 30 minutes from Ciampino (depending on the traffic). If you need us to arrange your transfer to the hotel and book a private car for you (at your cost), please contact Maria Rita Petrucci at info@pem2018.com.

5 Registration Check-in will be held at Parco dei Principi reception desk. Rooms are available from16:00 hrs, therefore if your room is not ready on your arrival, you will be able to leave your luggage with the hotel concierge. Upon check in the hotel will ask a credit card in order to guarantee payment of extra charges. Meeting Registration will be held at Pilot Welcome Desk, set in the main lobby near the reception. From there, you will sign in for the conference and collect information for the week ahead. Check-out is from 7.00 to 10.00hrs, so please store your luggage with the hotel concierge in case your departure is later. The Bed & Breakfast rate has been covered by Pilot on your behalf from 25th to 27th April included. If you have booked any additional accommodation, or additional extra expenses (i.e. minibar, pay-tv etc.) you will need to pay for this upon check-out.

7 Rome - On a need to know basis Weather April sees the weather significantly improve in Rome, as spring really begins to take hold. This is a great time of the year to visit, as the damp and chilly days of winter are long gone, but it never becomes uncomfortably hot, either. Temperatures usually begin at around 12 degrees Celsius and can rise to 15 degrees throughout the middle and towards the end of April. While afternoons are often warm and sunny, temperatures can drop rapidly in the evenings so you should expect the city to be much cooler towards the end of the day. Language Italian is the official language of the country, although accents and dialects may vary widely from one region to another. A large number of local dialects are spoken in Italy.
