Hotel de Rome is located on Bebelplatz, off Unter den Linden, not far from the Brandenburg Gate and opposite the Humboldt University in the heart of Berlin and next to the opera house Staatsoper unter den Linden. The building housed the head office of Dresdner Bank until It was partly destroyed during World War II. It is one of the few luxury hotels in Berlin located in an original building making use of its full architectural splendour and thereby offering guests an authentic Berlin experience.
