2 Hotel Accommodations Pavilion Hotel This 71 room beach-side hotel will have you relaxing in the cool ocean air in your semi-private courtyard lanai. In the evenings, join other guests around the large inviting fire ring in the outdoor ocean view lounge. Amenities include property-wide Wi-Fi; concierge and baggage services to and from the boat dock; complimentary hot breakfast; and daily wine and cheese reception all just 14 steps from the beach. Guests also have access to daily yoga and group virtual fitness classes at Island Spa Catalina. Mt. Ada In 1919, William Wrigley Jr. bought 99% of Catalina Island, and when he built his first home on the island, he named the location Mt. Ada, after his wife, Ada Wrigley. Mt. Ada consists of six guest rooms with splendid views of Avalon Bay and the Pacific Ocean. One can relax in the den, sun porch, or living room, and dine in the formal dining room or on the picturesque terrace that wraps around the home. Enjoy complimentary breakfast and lunch every day, as well as an evening wine and hors d oeuvres. Each room also comes with its own golf cart and complimentary shuttle service is available from the boat terminal, heliport or airport. Hotel Atwater (Re-opening summer 2019) Built in the 1920s, Hotel Atwater is located in the heart of Avalon. With 91 rooms, Hotel Atwater is the ideal place for those wishing to see more of Avalon. Receive a daily complimentary breakfast item and beverage at Ben s Bakery, located next door in the Shops at the Atwater. Luggage service is available from the boat terminal. Banning House Lodge (Two Harbors) Built in 1910, Banning House Lodge is a charming 12 room Craftsman-style bed and breakfast, offering sweeping views of the Isthmus from its romantic hilltop perched above Two Harbors. With its intimate and private setting for small meetings and groups, the Lodge is perfect for an evening reception or group lunch. Continental breakfast is served daily in the dining room and transportation is provided from the harbor to the Lodge. Dining, Activities and More Catherine s Terrace is a new state-of-the-art facility with a professional, fully-staffed catering kitchen that can accommodate meetings or events with up to 2 people. It features Avalon s only beachside bar, along with a gourmet espresso and ice cream shop offering freshly-made pizzas, pastries, and specialty coffee drinks, and all with the most stunning ocean views in southern California! Luxuriously furnished waterfront presidential cabanas are also available with food and bar service as well. Waterfront presidential cabanas are also available at Descanso Beach each of the three presidential cabanas accommodate up to six guests and is furnished with teak tables and chairs, chaise lounges, beach chairs, refreshing Oshibori towels, bath robes, a refrigerator, a flat-screen TV and use of an ipad with complimentary WiFi. Activities & Tours Offering land, air and ocean adventures in both Avalon and Two Harbors, and chances to explore the areas in between. From the Zip Line Eco Tour, to Catalina Aerial Adventure, to the East End Adventure biofuel Hummer tour, you can experience this mystical island on one of our adventures. Reflecting Catalina s rich history and relaxed seaside vibe, Island Spa Catalina offers a variety of thoughtfully selected treatments and rejuvenating therapies with Catalina Island botanicals, and the relaxation deck and interior studio are perfect for meetings or events. Avalon Grille At the corner of urban chic and island casual, Avalon Grille features premium Angus beef, line-caught local fish and farmstand vegetables, artfully crafted into a variety of regional and original dishes. A spectacular bar serving fine wines, micro-brews and signature cocktails looks out to a wall of windows that opens to create an al fresco dining experience mere steps from Avalon Bay. Catalina Island Golf Course Santa Catalina Island s charm and history are mirrored by the Catalina Island Golf Course, the oldest operating golf course west of the Rocky Mountains. Originally built by the Banning Brothers in 1892, this scenic, 2,-yard course has nine challenging holes, two sets of tees for 18-hole play, and is the former home of the Bobby Jones Invitational Tournament. A fully stocked Pro Shop, rental clubs, electric and pull carts, and PGA-certified pro is available.
