3 Trade visitors profile The biannual Transport Show welcomes the industry of road transport in Greece, Turkey as well as the Balkan Region and other major markets. According to data collected by the organizers, trade visitors are active in road transport of goods and people, and in Logistics (3PL), too. A high percentage of professional visitors declared their interest in light commercial vehicles (LCVs). Fleet managers and decision-makers from some of the biggest companies of the region have attended the trade show, and our exhibitors have been impressed with the record attendance of the passenger transport sector professionals. Nearly every professional or company with bus or coach activities visited the exhibition grounds and had very interesting discussions with the exhibitors. That was even more obvious with professionals from the booming tourism industry, especially representatives from some of the biggest hotels in Greece weighing their options in purchasing luxury midibuses and coaches. Representatives of tourism businesses were interested in new tourist bus models and new luxury minibuses. * Attendance of Transport Show is free for all transport professionals who provide their business data, and accordingly, the organizers gather the trade visitors profiles. Hundreds of executives of commercial vehicles enterprises with small or larger fleets, as well as transporters and truck and bus owners, had a series of contacts with truck dealers requesting information or to close an appointment. The numerous trade visitors, caused high attendance in exhibitors stands that concerned Vans and Pick Ups. The above-mentioned attendants, were fully satisfied given the fact that they had the opportunity to see and also drive a very wide range of commercial vehicles with some of them to be appeared for the first time and were also test drivable. In days prior to the main event, exhibitor s vehicles can enter the facilities at their convenience. n CONFERENCE ROOMS: Exhibitors have at their disposal a big, modern airconditioned conference hall with many amenities for up to 0 attendees, equipped with video projectors, microphones etc. During the previous editions of Transport Show, several seminars and special events with famous speakers were hosted at the conference hall. n TEST DRIVES AND OTHER EVENTS: All exhibitors with commercial vehicles are provided with ample parking, at no extra cost, in the outdoor area should they wish to give the visitors the opportunity for test drives. Upon exhibitor s request a tent can be provided to offer hospitality for their guests. INDOOR SPACE The 3 rd International Transport Show 18 covers the entire length of MEC Exhibition Centre (345 meters). There is one central corridor 3 meters wide and all exhibition stands are either left or right of the corridor, facing it. Visitors traffic is both ways. There is a central entrance which is simultaneously the exit to the outdoor exhibition area and the parking. EXHIBITION STANDS LAYOUT: Sections 1, 2 and 3 are available only for heavy and medium duty trucks and buses, unless the exhibitor also has LCVs or other products in his product offering. Sections 4 and 5 are reserved for Light Commercial Vehicles and for exhibitors such as rental or leasing companies that wish to show some vehicles from their fleets. Section 6 is available for transport and logistics companies, trade associations, and aftermarket exhibitors (components, lubricants, tires, tuning products etc) Section OUTDOOR SPACE FACADE STANDS: Outdoor exhibition stands numbered 10 to 16, have standard dimensions, cannot be separated and are open, without any eg., tents. Outdoor exhibition stands numbered 11, 12 and 15 are special lifted platforms. Stands 17 and 18 are open, but can be covered with special tents upon request. BIG FACADE STANDS SECTION 7: Outdoor exhibition stands are suitable for bigger vehicls such as silo and fuel tank trailers, 4-axle tippers, semitrailers, with or without tractor etc. The covered area on the floor plan is indicative, which means that the exhibitor can book a smaller or bigger area as long as the horizontal dimension of 15 or 18 meters is respected. It is possible to provide the exhibitor with full or partial roofing, with tents that provide reception space for visitors (front desk, extra lighting etc). IMPORTANT NOTICE: The spacious exterior exhibition area, will be attended first by the visitors that are directed to the exhibition, after parking their vehicles and consist the majority of the visitors. GENERAL SERVICES: The aforementioned prices include lighting, air condition for indoor spaces, cleaning services several times a day, security personnel, option to place promotional material at the reception, invitations for opening evening and the show, and parking space. 7 MEC: A modern exhibition centre MEC is easily accessible with all means of transport, easily accessible with city bus, private car or metro, both via Lavriou Avenue (301, Lavriou Avenue) and Attiki Odos (Exit 17 Kantza) and just 10 minutes from Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport.
