Tour Price Includes: Pick up from and return to your home - Greater Melbourne, Bendigo, Ballarat, Geelong, the Bellarine and Mornington Peninsulas, some areas of Gippsland and Phillip Island. Travel by our own state of the art luxury coach, equipped with restroom, satellite phone, fold-down arm rests, seat belts and extra leg room. Our coach has a kneeling device and second door for ease of entry and disembarkation. Our coach is also fitted with Road Cam TV monitors which display in real time the road ahead. The coach offers a smooth quiet ride and views through large panoramic windows. Quality ensuite motel accommodation. All tours and interest venues as per itinerary. 4 DAY 1: Sunday 23rd September, 2018 HOME TO EDEN Welcome to our 6 day tour to the Southern Highlands of NSW. After your personal pickup from home, we join O Shannessy s coach and start our journey east. Travelling via the Latrobe Valley and Sale we arrive in Bairnsdale for our lunch break. From here we continue through Cann River and over the New South Wales Border to Eden for our first night s accommodation. OVERNIGHT: Coachman's Rest Motor Inn, Eden Day 2: Monday 24th September, 2018 EDEN TO MITTAGONG Following a hearty breakfast we travel through Nimmitabel and Cooma, across the Great Dividing Range. We skirt around Canberra to visit a spectacular garden Tulip Top Gardens for our lunch and to tip toe through the tulips. The 10 acre garden of magnificent tulips and other spring flowers creates a spectacular display. Hundreds of blossom trees nestle between the flowers and provide a magic pathway to the cascading waterfall and watercourse with classical music wafting through the air in the hidden valley. Later this afternoon we make our way into the Southern Highlands. We re here for three nights, so we can settle in and unpack before dinner in the Club. OVERNIGHT: Springs Resort, Mittagong

5 Day 3: Tuesday 25th September, 2018 EXPLORING THE AREA We wake to a fresh Southern Highlands morning and head off on our days sightseeing. This morning, we make our way across to Berrima, which is one of the best remaining examples of a small Australian town of the 1830 s - there is the splendid courthouse, scene of Australia s first trial by jury, which we visit and we also have time to explore this village by foot if we wish. Next, we head to the historic mining village and now ghost town of Joadja. We are taken through streets and ruins where 120 years ago some 1,400 people lived and worked. We hear of the cultural, social and industrial history of the valley. We enjoy lunch and afternoon tea here, then farewell our guide and drive back to Mittagong. Before returning to our hotel, we visit a local garden which should be looking magnificent during spring. OVERNIGHT: Springs Resort, Mittagong Day 4: Wednesday 26th September, 2018 IT S ALL ABOUT THE TULIPS! We drive the short distance to Bowral this morning home of the Tulip Festival first stop is Corbett Gardens. During the tulip festival, over 100,000 tulips and 25,000 annuals are planted each year to transform Corbett Gardens and other parks across the shire into stunning displays of sweeping spring

6 colour. We visit the Bradman Cricket Hall of Fame. The Gallery is a mecca for cricket fans the world over and those who are interested in this great Australian icon and tell the story of the Boy from Bowral! This is also our lunch venue. This afternoon we are in for something special. Milton Park s world renowned garden was designed by the English School of Landscape and remains the only work undertaken outside of Europe by that esteemed academy. Today, it is considered by many to be the greatest garden in Australia. We have plenty of time to absorb ourselves in the ambience of this beautiful spring garden. 7 Day 5: Thursday 27th September, 2018 MITTAGONG TO ALBURY We farewell our hosts in Mittagong and begin our journey home. We stop at Gundagai, home to the Dog on the Tuckerbox, for our morning break. We continue travelling to Holbrook. You might think it's a bit odd to find a life sized submarine in the middle of rural NSW. Our visit to the Submarine Museum will reveal why the HMAS Otway's final resting spot came to be in Holbrook. Through an amazing holograph presentation we will hear how a brave young Submariner, whose exploits during the First World War earned him the honour of having a town named after him. Lunch is at the café right next door. This afternoon we drive to Albury for our final night on tour. OVERNIGHT: Best Western Plus Hovell Tree, Albury Day 6: Friday 28th September, 2018 HOMEWARD BOUND Unfortunately our tour is coming to an end. We drive over the Victorian border and south along the Hume Highway. Lunch today is in Benalla and from here we travel into Melbourne. As always our chauffeurs will be there to greet us and take us safely home. We trust you arrive home safely with memories of a fascinating and rewarding tour. O Shannessy s Tours will not be responsible for expenses resulting in such persons being precluded from completing the tour for any such reason. It is also a requirement of O Shannessy s Tours that each passenger is able to negotiate coach steps without the aid of the coach crew or other passengers. Any passenger who requires assistance for any of the above is required to travel with a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance. If you are willing to twin share but are a smoker or have a CPAP machine or snore, you will need to pay a single supplement for a sole use room.
