Tour Price Includes: Pick up from and return to your home - Greater Melbourne, Bendigo, Ballarat, Geelong, the Bellarine and Mornington Peninsulas, some areas of Gippsland and Phillip Island. Travel by our own state of the art luxury coach, equipped with restroom, satellite phone, fold-down arm rests, seat belts and extra leg room. Our coach has a kneeling device and second door for ease of entry and disembarkation. Our coach is also fitted with Road Cam TV monitors which display in real time the road ahead. 4 It was Toowoomba's status as the "Garden City" which inspired Essex Tait to suggest the city hold an annual carnival in order to help promote business. The event first premiered in the Spring of 1950 and was such a resounding success that it has been held every year since. Each year, the Carnival has been getting bigger, brighter and more colourful! We are going to be in Toowoomba in 2018 for the main event the Grand Central Floral Parade. Join us on our 6 day tour for what promises to be a wonderful line up of attractions including Flower, Food & Wine Events, Live Concerts and Open Gardens. Day 1: Thursday 20th September, 2018 Melbourne to Brisbane Welcome to our 6 day tour to Toowoomba for the 2018 Carnival of Flowers. This morning we transfer to Melbourne Airport for our flight to Brisbane. On arrival we will be met by our O Shannessy s Luxury Touring Coach and our Crew. We will drive via the Darling Downs to Toowoomba. We ll have a good look around in the next few days, but on our arrival we stop at the iconic Picnic Point Lookout. We then check into our five nights accommodation unpack and settle in before dinner. Lunch at own expense/ arrangement. Refreshments in flight

5 Day 2: Friday 21st September, 2018 Toowoomba s Gardens We enjoy the first of our hearty breakfasts before we start our sightseeing. This tour is all about the Gardens so first cab off the rank is a visit to one of the winning gardens for the 2018 Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. Following morning tea we stop at another exhibition garden on show. From here we make our way to Toowoomba's most notable tourist attraction, the Cobb & Co Museum, which is part of the Queensland Museum. It is more comprehensive than its name suggests and traces the history of horse drawn transportation in Australia from old timber wagons, spring wagons and bullock drays through to the Cobb & Co coaches and a landau used by the Duke of Edinburgh when he visited the colony in We enjoy a guided tour while we are here as well as a light lunch. This afternoon, we visit the Clivia Show along with the Australian Native Plant Show which are both situated behind the museum. There will be some free time to wander through the city centre there are plenty of displays on offer, so take your time and explore! After plenty of time to look around, we ll return to our motel to freshen up for dinner.

6 Day 3: Saturday 22nd September, 2018 The Grand Central Floral Parade Today is Grand Parade Day. This morning we visit another of the exhibition gardens on show. Next we take a visit to the Laurel Bank Park! Its fragrant blooms and floral displays are magnificent. Early afternoon, we head to Queens Park where there will be market stalls for lunch and entertainment - a real carnival atmosphere - before making our way to our seats for Australia s most unique Street Parade - the Grand Central Floral Parade. Spectacular floats decorated with live flowers, fitting the chosen theme for the year, plus Bands, Marching Groups and Carnival Characters. The Parade winds through the city and we enjoy it from a prime viewing location on reserved tiered seating. After another fabulous garden day, we return to our motel. Lunch at own expense/ arrangement. Day 4: Sunday 23rd September, 2018 Oakey - Jondaryan We spend the day out of Toowoomba as we travel west to Oakey. Here we will be joined by a local guide to take us on a brief tour of the historical landmarks of the town. We also visit the Museum of Australian Army Flying - home to a collection of memorabilia including aircraft, engines, uniforms and memories of the adventures and romance experienced by our pioneer military aviators. We will see the Bristol Boxkites used as training aircraft in 1914 along

7 with a range of others including the famous Pilatus Porter short take off and landing aircraft. After this we head to the historic Jondaryan Woolshed built in On the way we will pass St Anne s Church - the oldest slab walled church in use in Queensland and the second oldest in Australia. We spend the next few hours at Jondaryan Woolshed which is the oldest operating woolshed in Australia and the first purpose built shearing shed in the country. The complex covers 12 acres and features historic buildings and vintage machinery. During our time here today we ll enjoy a damper lunch followed by a guided tour. Day 5: Monday 24th September, 2018 Exploring Toowoomba in Spring This morning, we take a Spring Bluff Railway Excursion. Spring Bluff Railway Station is a favourite destination for visitors and locals alike. Its gardens are magnificent in spring and steam train rides are a feature during the Carnival of Flowers. Departing Toowoomba we enjoy a pleasant ride. Upon our return we continue the theme and visit the Downs Steam Railway Museum. We step back in time as we take a tour of this complex that includes audio visual displays and Locomotive 106, which was the last locomotive to be built at the Toowoomba Foundry. This afternoon, we visit the Teapot Extravaganza then Empire Theatre for a tour and a cuppa. After a great day, we return to the motel.

8 Day 6: Tuesday 25th September, 2018 Toowoomba to Melbourne Sadly our holiday is coming to an end. After breakfast we farewell our hosts and make our way to Brisbane Airport for our flight to Melbourne completing a sensational 6 day tour. As always our chauffeurs will be there to greet us and transfer us safely home. Lunch at own expense/ arrangement today.
