4 Day 1: Saturday 1st September, 2018 Depart Melbourne Welcome to our Italy with a Mediterranean / Adriatic Cruise featuring a 9 day Luxury Coach Tour through Italy followed by an 11 day Cruise aboard the Norwegian Spirit, before spending another 4 days relaxing in Italy. After our personal pickup from home this afternoon we make our way to Tullamarine Airport where we meet our Tour Director and board our flight via Singapore to Milan. We arrive early morning the next day. (meals in flight) OVERNIGHT: In-flight Day 2 : Sunday 2nd September, 2018 Arrive Milan (D) We will be met upon arrival at Milan airport by the local tour manager and transferred to our hotel for check-in and a snack with tea or coffee. The remainder of the day is at leisure before a welcome dinner with a glass of wine in the hotel this evening. OVERNIGHT: UNA Central Hotel, MILAN Day 3: Monday 3rd September, 2018 Milan Sightseeing (B,D) Milan the Home of Fashion and Design. Today we enjoy a half day guided sightseeing tour of the city. We visit the Milan Cathedral, which is a sight to behold! With its amazing architecture and spires - there s so much to look at you won t know where to start! Right next to the Cathedral is Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II another fascinating building. We have the afternoon at leisure. Dinner tonight will be at a Local Restaurant. OVERNIGHT: UNA Central Hotel, MILAN

5 Day 4: Tuesday 4th September, 2018 Milan Verona Padua (B,D) After breakfast this morning we depart Milan. We stop to view the main sights of the city of Verona, before continuing to Padua. We meet with a local guide for a half day city tour - seeing the Basilica di San Antonio, the Piazza Signori - The Torre dell orologio and other sights, including entrance to Scrovegni Chapel. Later this afternoon we check into our hotel with time to freshen up before heading out for Dinner at a Local Restaurant. OVERNIGHT: Hotel Europa, PADUA Day 5: Wednesday 5th September, 2018 Padua Bologna Florence (B,L,D) Today we depart Padua and head south towards Florence. Stopping along the way at Bologna where we meet with a local guide to view the main sights. We then continue on to Florence where we meet our Local English Speaking guide and visit the Accademia to see Michelangelo s David and his unfinished Prisioners We take a walking tour through the town to see the Ponte Vecchio, the Piazza del Duomo and Giottos Campanile. Later this afternoon we check into our hotel for the evening. We enjoy dinner at a Local Restaurant tonight. OVERNIGHT: Maallery Cerranti, FLORENCE

6 Day 6: Thursday 6th September, 2018 Florence San Gimignano Siena (B,L,D) We enjoy another lovely breakfast then depart Florence and travel to San Gimignano where we visit San Donato Factory and Olive Groves. We enjoy lunch at one of the vineyards with wine tasting before continuing to medieval Siena where we have a sightseeing tour to visit places - such as Piazzo Del Campo, the red Palazzo Pubblico and its tower, Torre del Mangia and the Duomo of Siena. We then make our way to our accommodation where we enjoy dinner tonight. OVERNIGHT: Hotel Executive, SIENA Day 7: Friday 7th September, 2018 Siena Assisi Rome (B,D) Today we travel to Assisi, best known as the birthplace of St. Francis, Italy's patron saint. Assisi lies amid Umbria's rolling hills. Religious Pilgrims have come here for centuries to visit the Basilica of San Francesco (where St. Francis is buried) as we will today. (whisper headsets included with tour). We also enjoy a walking tour of the city and view the main sights with a Local guide before continuing to Rome our home for the next 2 nights. We enjoy dinner at a local restaurant tonight. OVERNIGHT: Hotel Grand Palace, ROME

7 Day 8: Saturday 8th September, 2018 Rome City Tour (B,D) After Breakfast we board our coach with a local guide for a half day city tour of ancient Rome, including the Colosseum, Arch of Costantine and the Roman Forum. We return to hotel after the tour and have the afternoon at leisure to continue exploring on our own before we enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. OVERNIGHT: Hotel Grand Palace, ROME Day 9: Sunday 9th September, 2018 Rome Civitavecchia - (Cruise Ship own arrangements) (B,D) We have a free day to seek out other endless adventures in Rome. With two and a half thousand years of history, art and culture, it is no wonder Rome is one of the most visited cities on the planet. Gaze at the masterpieces of the Vatican or walk into the past with visits to ancient relics, historic monuments and legendary museums. Or people-watch while sipping on an espresso in a quaint cafe. We will transfer to Civitavecchia Port late this afternoon to board our cruise. Day 10: Monday 10th September, 2018 At Sea (B,L,D) Today we are at sea, so why not check out the Tivoli Pool or the 4 outdoor hot tubs. That s just the beginning - you can also enjoy the 14

8 dining options, 7 of which are complimentary, the other 7 have small cover charges. Enjoy some pampering in The Roman Spa & Fitness Centre. There are many activities to enjoy on board such as: Photo Gallery where you can buy photo s of yourself enjoying the cruise, or a Golf Driving net where you can practice your swing. If shopping is what you like to do there are jewellery and duty free shops to look through, or try your luck at the casino on board. There is a theatre where you can enjoy comedy variety shows, live shows, magician acts, Broadway shows and soul/rock n nights, there s something for everyone. If you d like to sit and have a pre dinner drink there are 10 bars / lounges to choose from including piano bars with live music. Enjoy our day cruising the Mediterranean / Adriatic and watching the world go by. Day 11: Tuesday 11th September, 2018 Dubrovnik, Croatia (B,L,D) Despite the magnificent 13th century walls that surround the city, Dubrovnik is one of the most welcoming cruise destinations in all of Europe. Dubbed the pearl of the Adriatic by the poet, Lord Byron, this Croatian city exudes romantic charm and beautiful scenery with its shimmering marble streets, centuries-old buildings capped by bright orange roofs, and lovely beaches ensconced between awesome rocky ledges. We are here all day so we have plenty of time to explore Dubrovnik. Day 12: Wednesday 12th September, 2018 Venice, Italy (B,L,D) As we arrive in Venice this afternoon and don t leave until tomorrow evening, this gives us the unique opportunity to visit St Marks Square

9 by night. Perhaps enjoy a glass of wine at one of the many cafes. With its breathtaking architecture, narrow streets and winding canals, Venice is often the main contender for the title of world's most beautiful city. We have the option to see the heralded Bridge of Sighs or the Rialto Bridge, enjoy people watching, cross pretty bridges or visit the nearby island of Murano, where artisans create world famous glass. Day 13: Thursday 13th September, 2018 Venice, Italy (B,L,D) Venice has wonderful restaurants, wine bars, marble churches and blown glass. But what you will probably remember most about Venice is the fact that Venice is built on water. It is a place where people either float slowly down palace-lined man-made waterways or stroll down narrow alleyways. There's no more extraordinary place to find yourself, or lose yourself. We are here for the whole day today so the choice is yours about what you might like to do. Perhaps you might like to organise a Private boat with a local guide, for two hour city tour, including the main sights, stopping to view St Marks Square. Or visit Doge s Palace or go on a Gondola Ride with musicians, or visit a Glass Blowing Demonstration or Lace Exhibition. The choice is yours today.

10 Day 14: Friday 14th September, 2018 Koper, Slovenia (B,L,D) We awake today in Koper and have all day here to have a good look around. The largest town on the Slovenian Coast, Koper boasts a colourful history dating back to Ancient Greece and Rome that springs to life in the Old Town. Here cruise guests can explore narrow intertwining streets lined with Istrian limestone facades. We can enjoy open air festivals and plays, shop for local handicrafts, and savour the local favourites like jota soup, fish specialties and local wines. Day 15: Saturday 15th September, 2018 Split, Croatia (B,L,D) We arrive this morning in Split and have the day here to explore this Mediterranean city. Split is on the eastern shores of the Adriatic and has a long and eventful history dating back to the ancient Diocletian's Palace (circa 295 A.D.) in the centre of the city. Split offers cruise guests a wealth of exciting places to visit, from the majestic cathedral and marble streets in the centre of town to the harbour area with its promenades and views of coastal mountains. Day 16: Sunday 16th September, 2018 Corfu, Greece (B,L,D) We arrive late morning to Greece and stay into the evening. One of the lushest of the Greek Isles, Corfu is rimmed in dramatic blue waters and topped with tranquil hillside villages. A collection of

11 quaint cafes in the town of Corfu feels very continental, but the island's secluded coves and sandy beaches only to be found in the Greek Isles. Day 17: Monday 17th September, 2018 Olympia (Katakolon), Greece (B,L,D) Olympia is a quaint little seaside town on the Ionian Sea and is the gateway to Ancient Olympia, where Greek mythology was born and the first Olympiad was held. You may still be able to hear the distant echoes of the ancient Greeks cheering as you tour the ruins of one of the most important and exciting sanctuaries of antiquity. We have all day here to explore. Day 18: Tuesday 18th September, 2018 Valletta, Malta (B,L,D) Although somewhat scarred by World War II, Valletta prides itself on its magnificent Baroque palaces, piazzas, gardens and churches. The Magisterial Palace, built between 1571 and 1574, now houses the Maltese Parliament and offices of the President of Malta. We arrive in the afternoon and don t leave until later tonight. Day 19: Wednesday 19th September, 2018 At Sea (B,L,D) Today we enjoy a day at Sea. Relax by the pool or if you are wanting a bit of quiet time there is a card room, library and writing room to catch up on your postcards. Do a bit more exploring of the ship or checkout

12 your Freestyle Daily Newsletter which is delivered to your room each day to see what activities have been organised for the day. Maybe there are some dance classes or cooking classes on. Or just sit back and watch the world go by. Day 20: Thursday 20th September, 2018 Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy (disembark) to Sorrento (B,L,D) This morning after we disembark from our cruise, we will be met by our local Tour Manager, and join our coach travelling to Sorrento. We arrive in Sorrento around lunchtime where we enjoy lunch at a local Tapas Restaurant. The balance of the day we will have free time to explore Sorrento or just relax. We enjoy dinner out at a local restaurant tonight. OVERNIGHT: Art Hotel GranParadiso, SORRENTO Day 21: Friday 21st September, 2018 Sorrento Pompeii Naples Sorrento (B,D) Today we delve into thousands of years of history in old Naples, perfectly located between the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, not far from the

13 fascinating remains of Pompeii and the Island of Capri. We have a visit to Pompeii archaeological site, with a local guide, included today before we continue to Naples with a visit to the National Archaeological Museum. We return to Sorrento for an afternoon at leisure. We enjoy dinner out again tonight to see more of Sorrento has to offer! OVERNIGHT: Art Hotel GranParadiso, SORRENTO Day 22: Saturday 22nd September, 2018 Sorrento (B,D) Today is at leisure. You may like to take a boat ride to the Isle of Capri, where you can take the Funicular to the top of the Island for stunning views. Or you may wish to board a small boat and head out to the Blue Grotto. If you are game - you may like to board a local bus and take a ride along the gorgeous Amalfi Coast. For those not so game you may like to just wander around the quaint township of Sorrento. There are many cafe s to sit and watch the world go by or make your way down to the harbour to watch the boats coming and going. You may even like to take a dip in the beautiful Mediterranean. Dinner tonight is in a local restaurant so we can soak up a bit more of the atmosphere. OVERNIGHT: Art Hotel GranParadiso, SORRENTO

14 Day 23: Sunday 23rd September, 2018 Sorrento - Monte Cassino Rome Fiumicino (B,D) After breakfast we travel to Monte Cassino, and visit Monte Cassino Abbey, and Cassino War Cemetery. The Abbey of Monte Cassino is one of the most known Abbeys in the world. In 529 Saint Benedict chose this mountain to build a monastery that would host him and those monks following him on the way from Subiaco. Within the centuries the Abbey has met magnificence and destruction many times. In 577 Langobards destroyed it, then Saracens in 887. In 1349 a violent earthquake occurred and in The Battle of Monte Cassino in 1944 during WWII almost flattened it. It has always come out of its ruins stronger. We arrive at Rome Fiumicino for the evening. We enjoy dinner in the hotel. OVERNIGHT: Warmhotel, ROME Day 24: Monday 24th September, 2018 Rome Fiumicino (B) After breakfast in hotel we bid farewell to Rome. We are transferred to the airport for check in. We depart Rome around midday for our flight to Singapore. We travel through the night and arrive the next morning in Singapore. (meals in flight) OVERNIGHT: In-flight

15 Day 25: Tuesday 25th September, 2018 We arrive into Singapore early this morning and after a short stopover we head for home. We arrive at Tullamarine airport in the late afternoon where our chauffeurs will meet us to take us safely home with wonderful memories of our time in Italy and Mediterranean area. (meals in flight) We trust you arrive home safely with memories of a fascinating and rewarding tour.
