2 8 Day Cruising Adriatic s Eastern Shore Your Itinerary Day 1 Fly to Venice We depart today and transfer to the airport by motor-coach. Day 2 Arrive Venice and Board the Norwegian Star Arrive in Venice and we transfer to the Norwegian Star. Once boarded, and settled we have a group meeting with our Tour Director. We depart the port of Venice at Day 3 Dubrovnik, Croatia Despite the magnificent 13th century walls that surround the city, Dubrovnik is one of the most welcoming cruise destinations in all of Europe. Dubbed the pearl of the Adriatic by the poet, Lord Byron, this Croatian city exudes romantic charm and beautiful scenery with its shimmering marble streets, centuriesold buildings capped by bright orange roofs, and lovely beaches ensconced between awesome rocky ledges. Optional Excursions: Take a day to explore the wonderful towns of Orasac, Ston and Old Town Dubrovnik. Start the day with a drive to Orasac where you will take a tour of a mill. From there this tour takes you to the winery Vukas on Peljesac. During your tour of the winery you will have a chance to sample some wines. After, be transferred to Ston where you will enjoy lunch. Later, a tour of Old Town Dubrovnik awaits. Free time is available before transferring back to port. Day 4 Kotor, Montenegro Tucked away between the mountains and the Bay of Kotor, one of the most indented parts of the Adriatic Sea, is where you ll find the picturesque town of Kotor. As you arrive at this secluded city, you ll notice the dramatic 65-foot high protective walls, which date back to the Venetian period during the 9th century. Stroll the labyrinth of cobbled streets with cozy cafes and craft shops as you marvel the graceful old buildings. Listed as a UNESCO World Natural and Historical Heritage Site, Kotor is also world-famous as a premier yachting and sailing destination. Optional Excursion: A family run business that has prided on cultivating the best. You will be transferred to Lustica Peninsula where you will have a chance to meet the Moric family before you escape on your intimate and acclaimed olive tour. 3 8 Day Cruising Adriatic s Eastern Shore Your Itinerary (continued) Day 5 Corfu, Greece One of the lushest of the Greek Isles, Corfu is rimmed in dramatic blue waters and topped with tranquil hillside villages. A collection of quaint cafes in the town of Corfu feels very continental, but the island's secluded coves and sandy beaches could only be found in the Greek Isles. Optional Excursion: Enjoy a half-day guided Tour of Corfu. Your tour includes a 2-course lunch in Corfu Town. Followed by an Olive Mill Tour where you can enjoy a private tasting and an olive oil workshop. The tour concludes with a visit to the Achillion Museum before transferring back to port. Day 6 Day at Sea Day spent at sea for leisure activities or some rest & relaxation on the Norwegian Star. Day 7 Split, Croatia A Town on Croatia s Dalmation Coast, is known for its beaches and the fortress-like complex at its center, Diocletian s Palace, erected by the Roman emperor in the 4th Century. Once home to thousands, its sprawling remains include more than 200 buildings. Within its white stone walls and under its courtyards are a cathedral, numerous shops, bars, cafes, hotels and houses. Optional Excursions: Enjoy the day exploring Trogir, Jurlinove Dvori and Split. The tour starts with a transfer to Trogir where you will be able to go inside Saint Lovre Cathedral and spend some free time shopping and sightseeing. After you will transfer to Primosten Burni for a walking tour and lunch. After lunch, transfer back to split for some free time. Day 8 Venice, Italy The cruise may be over but the memories of all the beautiful places you visited will stay with you forever. We leave the Adriatic behind as we fly home.
