On arrival into Hobart, you are met and transferred to your hotel for check in, followed by an afternoon tour of Hobart. Our orientation tour takes in Battery Point, Salamanca Place the Botanic Gardens, Constitution Dock and Mt. Nelson for amazing views overlooking Hobart. Return to the hotel for a welcome drink and dinner with your tour director and fellow passengers. Overnight: Wrest Point, Hobart 2 Hobart - Queenstown Thurs 11 May 2017 This morning we head west to New Norfolk and the magnificent Mt. Field National Park. Tasmania s oldest National Park is the location of the spectacular three-tiered waterfall - Russell Falls, which is surrounded by towering swamp gums. Then we take the winding journey up to Lake St. Clair amazing vistas await us. Back down to Queenstown, along the rainforest bordered road of World Heritage protected Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park - a magnificent part of the world. 3 3 Gordon River Cruise Cradle Mountain Fri 12 May 2017 Travel to the fishing village of Strahan on Macquarie Harbour, where you ll cruise the Gordon River while enjoying lunch. Be awestruck by the beauty of the dark waters reflecting the untouched wilderness and be amazed by the 2,000-year-old Huon Pine at Heritage Landing. Pass the towns of Rosebery and Tullah as you travel to your hotel on the boundary of Cradle Mountain National Park. We ll take you to gorgeous Dove Lake for spectacular views of Cradle Mountain make sure the camera s charged, this is a scenic highlight, and the air there s none fresher! You re likely to spot Bennetts wallabies, echidnas and pademelons grazing through the alpine heathlands. Picture perfect rolling green hills and Friesian cows you ll think you re in a butter commercial as you make your way past Table Cape, home of tulips, for views of Bass Strait, the lighthouse and coastline. Picturesque Stanley is in your sights as you head west with a view of the Nut and a chance to explore. Your final destination is Smithton. Overnight: Tall Timbers, Smithton 5 Smithton - Launceston Sun 14 May 2017 Picturesque Stanley is in your sights as you head west with a view of the Nut. Next stop is Burnie for a guided tour of the Makers Workshop, a place that honours Burnie s history, innovators and artists. Later, travel east along the coast through Penguin and Ulverstone then south to Sheffield for a wander through this town of murals with its colourful wall paintings that adorn the town s buildings. En route to Launceston you ll visit the Ashgrove Farm Cheese Factory for a presentation on cheese making and some delicious produce testing- yum! Overnight: Best Western Plus, Launceston

4 6 Launceston Sightseeing Mon 15 May 2017 This morning travel through the rolling hills and vineyards of the Tamar Valley to Beaconsfield Mine and Heritage Centre. Beaconsfield has a long rich gold mining history. Your expert guide will bring to life the mine s extraordinary past and tell you of incredible engineering feats, the town s heritage and the dramatic events of the 2006 rock fall and mine rescue. This afternoon is free for you to explore Launceston. Maybe take a tour of Boag s Brewery! Overnight: Best Western Plus, Launceston 7 Launceston - Bicheno Tues 16 May 2017 Bridestowe Lavender Estate is your first stop to. Bridestowe has been growing lavender since 1922 when a London perfumer planted lavender seeds from the French Alps on his family estate which he named after his wife s birthplace in England. Try some of Bridestowe s lavender products and treat yourself to their famous lavender ice cream! Later make a stop at the Legerwood Carved Memorial Trees, planted in honour of fallen WWI soldiers, then visit Pyengana Dairy Company. Learn about the history of the farm and cheese making in the Pyengana area before you taste several cheeses of different ages and flavours. Yum! After your lunch time stop at St. Helens, follow the picturesque East Coast south to Bicheno. This evening you may like to take an optional tour to see Bicheno s wild penguin colony as they emerge from the ocean for the night, or even take a tour to see Tassie Devils. Overnight: Beachfront at Bicheno 8 Bicheno - Hobart Wednes 17 May 2017 Get your camera ready for the spectacular and breathtaking Freycinet National Park. You ll take a walk that will unveil astonishing views across brilliant blue water, forest and golden beach. Cape Tourville Lookout is magic! Travel through Swansea and Orford, then chart a course for Hobart. Overnight: Wrest Point, Hobart

5 9 Port Arthur Thurs 18 May 2017 Explore Port Arthur Historic Site to. Cross Eaglehawk Neck to the Tasman Peninsula and enjoy a cruise around the Isle of the Dead and a fascinating guided walk of Port Arthur s infamous convict prison. You ll have time to wander the site at your leisure before you leave. See rugged sea cliffs from Pirate s Bay Lookout, and feast your eyes on the amazing vistas of Tasman s Arch, Devil s Kitchen and the Blowhole on the drive back to Hobart. This evening celebrates your holi with your fellow travellers at a farewell dinner at one of Hobart s favourite restaurants. Overnight: Wrest Point, Hobart 10 Hobart to Home Fri 19 May 2017 Your tour concludes this morning after breakfast when you will be transferred to the Hobart airport for your flight home.

6 BOOKING CONDITIONS Bookings A $1000 per person non-refundable deposit is due upon confirmation of your booking. Full balance is due no later than 8 weeks prior to departure. For bookings made within 8 weeks of departure full payment is due within 24 hours. Fares Price is: $3185 ex Adelaide/ Melbourne/ Sydney or Brisbane. $3535 ex Perth. All fares are quoted in Australian Dollars. Fares include transport, entrance fees & cruise fares as per itinerary plus services of a driver/guide. Air deal is subject to specific class availability and based on low season departures. A surcharge will apply if the booking class is not available. Holi Wonders advise we can accept credit card payments for our tours, however a 1.9% credit card fee applies. Accommodation Accommodation is based on twin share. Single rooms are available on request and a single supplement is payable at time of booking. Cancellations All deposits are non refundable after payment.
