2 Aboard Discovery One Our 25-meter Catamaran offers everything you need for a friendly & relaxed cruise an unforgettable journey through Australia s most unique & pristine wilderness. We carry a maximum of 22 passengers no waiting and more excursions. Captain Lenny has been with Discovery One for over ten years & his intimate knowledge of the Kimberley is second to none. We ll take you to special places off the beaten track wherever possible making each cruise unique in some memorable way our many repeat customers can attest to this. Our onboard cook freshly prepares your morning tea & delicious, healthy meals daily. Coffee, tea, water and fresh fruit are available all day in the lounge free of charge. Excursions are carried out daily freshwater rock pool and waterfall visits, ancient aboriginal art, reef and upriver explorations or you can simply relax onboard and enjoy the views from our sun loungers. In your room, linen & beach towels are provided and we take care of all your laundry onboard free of charge. Hairdryers are available in the bathrooms. A shallow draft & the ability to carry more fuel then other vessels enables us to go further & explore more places of interest, saving time, traversing up river with ease & avoiding the need for disembarkment onto tenders. We start our cruises from Derby or Wyndham avoiding rough stretches of open sea & making the most of your time exploring the epic north coast & up river scenery often described by our well travelled passengers as the most magical they ve seen in their lives. We only travel during the day, which means you don t miss a thing & most importantly, you have a peaceful sleep, every night of your adventure with us! We don t use Travel Agents to market for us which helps us keep our prices competitive. Fares are based on a twin-share cabin including transfers, meals and excursions. Single passengers wishing to solely occupy a cabin will only incur an additional 50% of the cabin fare. Time permitting, we may visit special places not listed & itineraries should be read as a guide only. Changes may be made at the discretion of the Captain dependent on tides, weather & other unforeseen events.
