2 Civil Aircraft Industry International Forum 2018 Industry Background In the next two decades, Chinese civil aircraft market will have a strong demand rate, including 4631 trunk airliners and 726 regional aircrafts, which valued at $648.1 billion. By 2030, customer travel demand in China is expected to increase by 5%, civil aviation will become the main way for the public to travel. In the next 10 years, civil aircraft capacity will increase by 25%. Civil aircraft production will present two trends and challenges: the influence of the rise of new manufacturers and supply chain. Under this background, Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics hosted 9th Civil Aircraft Industry International Forum CAIIF is an international forum focusing on global co-operation and advanced technology in the Chinese aircraft manufacturing industry as well as the related policy that might be adapt and use during these processes.
