2 Overview of 2012 Inter Lubric China As the most professional, authoritative and largest international exhibition in China lubricant industry, 13th China International Lubricants and Technology Exhibition (Inter Lubric China) was successfully held during October 31-November 2. Though the China lubricant industry has been inevitably affected by overall fall of China's economic growth and the varying degrees of decline in manufacturing sector in 2012, the companies enthusiasm for the professional lubricants exhibition was not doused. This year's exhibition attracted a total of 155 exhibitors domestic and abroad, a steady rise in number compared to last year. The display area increased by 25%, reaching 10,000 square meters and the number of visitors also rose slightly compared with last year. To meet the needs derived from the upgrading of technology in the lubricant industry, the 2012 China International Lubricants, Base Oils & Additives Conference, dedicated to the industry trends and the latest technologies, was held during the exhibition, as well as a variety of fringe programs of technology and marketing conferences which were acclaimed by all walks. The exhibition scale increased against the economy growth trends, up to 10,000 square meters, the No. 1 Lubricant show in China. The level of the exhibition has been greatly upgraded, while the raw space booths accounted for 2/3 of all. Seven fringe programs varied from industry development to global technologies trends and market application communication. 3 Exhibitors Information This year s show attracted exhibitors from Russia, USA, UK, Germany, Canada, Italia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, China Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland, total 155 companies. The display area achieved m2, a rise of 25% compared to last year. 67% of all were raw space construction stands. The level of the exhibition has been greatly upgraded. After recent year s accumulation, the scale of Inter Lubric China has been steadily expanded and the number of famous participating enterprises also increased year by year. It is recognized as the most authoritative, the largest and most influential professional event in China lubricant industry. SINOPEC lubricants as well as some fast-growing private own Lubricant companies including Shanghai Donghao, Amer, Lopal, Ningbo Chief, Luoge, JAMA Lubricant,DPF-TH, Wuxi South and etc. have also brought their latest products and company information for the showcase. In addition, a number of foreign oil enterprises as new entrants coming to the domestic market, such as LUKOIL from Russia, STARLIONOIL from Singapore, PETROMIN from Saudi Arabia, Bardahl from U.S.A. and TEKLUBE TS from U.K. Their exotic designed stands added new spots to this year s show. Lubricants Industry leaders Banquet After conference, Lubricants Industry leaders Banquet was launched at the same night, more than 200 professionals from the lubricants industry attended this banquet.the chief analyst of Shanghai CIFCO Futures Co., Ltd was invited to analyze the development of global cruel oil and domestic and abroad macroeconomic situation. Furthermore, five successful entrepreneurs (General manager of Zhuhai Shun Yi Development Co., Ltd. Mr. Zhang Jianxin; Chairman of Shanghai DongHao Oil Industry Co., Ltd. Metal Working Lubricant Technology Seminar Metal Working Lubricant Technology Seminar was co-organized by Shanghai Lubricant Trade Association and Intex Shanghai. Automobile Parts & Maintenance Seminar Automobile Parts & Maintenance Seminar, was co-sponsored by the Shanghai Automobile Maintenance and Repair Trade Association and Automotive Parts Circulating Trade Association. Around 200 technology and procurement staff from 4S car maintenance shops and large-scale auto repair shops in Shanghai with agents from automobile supplies circulation fields and other insiders,gathered together to exchange ideas over automobile supplies. Machinery Lubricant Training Course Machinery Lubricant Training Course sponsored by Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Equipment and Maintenance Engineering Branch, inviting lubricant management experts to present the latest lubricant management and requirement in the manufacturing field. Media & Promotion Professional Media This year s show was promoted over 50 lubricant professional media as covering lubricant industry and lubricant application industries since March 2012, including 8 consecutive months of full-page color advertisement on 23 newspapers, magazines and trade journals published; and in over 30 most popular lubricant related websites. The End Overall, despite the background of general economic fall, 2012 Lubric China show achieved a complete success. Both on display and activates have been positive replied by professionals and all walks of life. In terms of scale, quality and level, the show has had another step forward. Of course, there are still a lot worthwhile to improve for next year, such as in the aspect of attendees, need for greater effort to attract more visitors; in the aspect of media and publicity, need to expand more; in the aspect of the showcase, need to attract more high-end brands to participate; in the aspect of on-site service, need to strengthen the coordination with pavilion provide exhibitors with best facilities and services.
