Sometimes persons have been entering the grounds and visiting exhibitors at their stands before the official start of the show. We must point out that exhibitors are responsible and liable for the safety of persons visiting their stands, even if these persons have not been expressly invited. In response to numerous complaints and in view of the considerable safety risks involved, we kindly ask you not to invite or receive any pre-show visitors. 1

6 Carpet Walking You have the option of letting the floor coverings of the exhibition stand run into the corridors by laying out the edges of the corridors with fire-retardant floor coverings of your choice. In the middle of the hall aisle we will lay our coconut runners or carpet tiles as a neutral distinction between the different floor coverings of the individual exhibitors. The laying of your own floor covering as described above must be notified to the Technical Event Management in advance in writing. 8 Delivery and removal of goods during the show Disconnection of utility services Movement of goods in Oriental section during the show: 6 p.m. - 9 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. On the last day of the show, morning delivery and pick-up of goods only permitted up to 9 a.m. Please ensure that your stand has sufficient space for storing your goods. Under no circumstances may pallets be left in aisles or lobbies, or in front of neighboring stands. Emergency escape routes must be kept free at all times. In cases or violations, Deutsche Messe will set a deadline for the removal of pallets/goods, after which they will be removed and stored at the expense of the exhibitor. These charges will be included in statement for any supplementary services ordered. Pallets/goods will be returned only if sufficient space is available to store them within the stand. For interim storage see "forwarding agencies" Disconnection of utilities prior to the end of the show is not permitted. For safety reasons, only authorized Deutsche Messe staff is permitted to disconnect utility services to stands. You can avoid delays in having the utilities disconnected by making an appointment well in advance. Exhibitors are emphatically warned not to disconnect or shut off supply lines themselves. The exhibitor is liable for any accidents or damage resulting from such action. 16 Priority certificates During the event, our exhibitors will enjoy provisional protection for their show of utility and design patents and trademarks, but this must first be applied for by the exhibitor himself at the event. For your products exhibited at the show, you can apply for Priority Use and Design Certificates and Trademarks during the event. Removal vehicles will be directed by traffic wardens to a specified marshaling area for interim paid parking. Transport vehicles will be granted entry to the exhibition grounds as of 8:00 p.m. on the last day of the show. Trucks as well as cars pulling trailers will be permitted to enter the grounds via all open entrances in order to deliver exhibits and related materials throughout the entire construction period (i.e. also the final day), provided they have a total loading capacity of over 3.5 tons. The German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO - "Straßenverkehrsordnung") apply. Drivers must give away to the right; there are no priority roads. The speed limit of 20 kilometers per hour must be strictly observed. Sanitärservice Gbr Information Center (IC), Room The exhibition grounds and the halls are open 24/7. At the last day before the fair starts, the construction must be finished at 18:00 hrs. By law, the maximum working period is limited to 10 hours/day, also during construction and dismantling periods. If your company has a registered office in Germany, that office can also obtain work permits by applying to the relevant state authority. No special work permit is required for tradeshow work on Sundays or public holidays.
