Extend Exercise Classes Monday am Hope Rooms, North Berwick Gentle exercises either standing or seated which are adapted to your own needs, but no floor exercises! Tuesday am Thursday am Wednesday pm Friday am Lady of the waves Church Hall or Bleachingfield Community (date dependent), Dunbar Corn Exchange or Town House (date dependent), Haddington Community or Town Hall (date dependent), Prestonpans Price: 3 Gardening Group Tuesday pm Abbey Residential Home, North Berwick This group meet up every week to maintain the garden of the Abbey Residential home in North Berwick, to allow the residents of the home to use their beautiful garden. Gaspers Group Every Second Wednesday pm Tranent Town Hall This gentle exercise class is for people who have completed their COPD rehabilitation programme with their physio. It allows them to be able to exercise in a safe and fun environment. Price: 3

3 Golden Girls Tuesday pm Ormiston Community A weekly drop in group for older people living in Ormiston. Weekly meetings can include social activities and physical activities like seated exercise and indoor kurling. Men in Shed s Tuesday and Thursday pm Macmerry Village Hall Price 1 The shed is up and running and is now working on community projects, it will have work benches and tools, and be used for members to share their skills in working with wood and other interests. It provides a haven for men to come along and socialise. Come along and find out more about getting involved and taking part in this exciting new project. Seated Exercise Tuesday am Musselburgh East Community Price: 1 Seated exercise classes are for people of all abilities who wish to partake in gentle exercise. Price 2 Sporting Memory Group Tuesday 10.00am 12.00pm John Gray, Haddington Join our Sporting Reminiscence Group for men. Tell us about your favourite sporting heroes or event and hear stories from others who love sports memorabilia. We welcome all men who are over 65, who would like to have a chat about their sporting memories and learn more about sport in Scotland. Half time refreshments include pie and Bovril! Price: FREE Walkin East Lothian Monday 1.30pm North Berwick Join us for a led walk and have fun while exercising gently. Each walk takes about an hour Tuesday 10.30am Dunbar and all you need is comfortable shoes and a waterproof. Each walk is free but you may wish to Wednesday 10.30am Haddington bring a few pennies for a hot drink at the end. Wednesday 10.30am Ormiston Price: FREE Thursday 10.30am Prestonpans Walk Some More Second and Fourth Wednesday of every month Various times Various walking routes The Walk Some More group walk in different locations and last approximately 2 hours in different locations around East Lothian, from Gullane Hill and Aberlady nature reserve, round Lennoxlove estate and down to Dunglass. Dogs are welcome but are the responsibility of the owner and must be kept on leads at all times. Zumba Gold Monday pm North Berwick Community Wednesday s am Gullane Village Hall Fun, low impact Latin-inspired dance class. 5 The Ageing Well project promotes healthy lifestyles for people over 50 in East Lothian. The project is a partnership between NHS Lothian and East Lothian Council, and is part of the Age UK national Ageing Well Network, which aims to increase the expectation of good health in later life as well as maintain and promote the physical and mental health and well being of older people in East Lothian to improve their quality of life through this list of activities.
