2 Dear Sir/Madam, Our Saturday amateur team has existed now for three years, following the coming together of two established sides in Bathgate Vale and Bridgend United (both founded in 2006) under the Bathgate Thistle banner - with the aim of helping found the Community Club which has now came to fruition and continues to go from strength to strength. Season 2014/15 is going to be an exciting and challenging campaign for the team as we look to push for promotion to the top tier of East of Scotland amateur football - the Lothian & Edinburgh AFA (LEAFA) Premier 1 Division. As well as league encounters, we compete in a number of local cup competitions as well as the SAFA s East of Scotland and Scottish Cups. During the post season break we have re-organised both our committee and coaching staff - and there will no doubt be some new faces joining us in the playing squad as well in the coming weeks. Together we all look forward to the challenges that the new season will bring! To run a successful amateur football club costs upwards of 5,000 per year and rising. Costs include league and association fees, cup entry fees, insurances, pitch and training facility hire, referee fees, kit and equipment purchases, laundry and many (many) more! The vast majority of this is funded by the squad directly through subscriptions and indirectly through social and fundraising events. In addition, we are grateful for any and all assistance that is provided by the local business community and this is where we need your help! Our goal is to provide the best amateur football club that we possibly can for Bathgate - a team that the town can be proud of, follow its progress and support. Please consider helping us in our attempts in the knowledge that, in return, we will do our utmost to provide value for your contribution. Assigned photo album on our Facebook page which we will update once per month for you with photos which you will provide to us Links to your Facebook and/or websites included on the sponsors page of the website Did you know Our official website, attracts over 2500 unique visitors per month on average. In May 2014, the website received over 110,000 hits - from all around the world! Newsletter Price Availability A2: Monthly Sponsorship A3: Monthly Advertising Slot The newsletter will be published on the 1 st of the month for the ten months between August and May and will be a minimum of 4 A4 pages per month. It will be distributed via our Facebook page, twitter account and ing list as well as paper copies being made available to sponsors, committee, players and supporters. Monthly sponsorship includes a 1/3 page front page advert and a further single 1/4 page advertisement elsewhere in the newsletter for one month. A monthly advertising slot is a single 1/4 page advertisement in the newsletter for one month. We would be happy to discuss a bespoke package for businesses willing to commit to purchasing more than one space per month and or advertising across multiple months.

Between uses they will be stored by club committee to ensure they are kept in the best of order. We have tried hard on the playing kit and indeed all other packages to put in place opportunities to suit all budgets and hope there is something here which you are interested in helping us with. This is a terrific fundraising opportunity for the club while also providing a very economical way to show your support for the team. Counting all players and coaches, there are up to 50 such opportunities available which have the ability to make a huge difference to the club s finances. Please see the example on the right as to how your support would be displayed on the club website. We can link the above sponsor logos to your company website and also add links to your Facebook or other social media accounts. Please help us by making as many of your friends and business associates as possible aware of their availability. In return for your sponsorship, you will be invited to have your photo taken with the player of your choice and a copy ed to you. In addition, yours or your company s name will be listed in their player profile on the website and on the monthly newsletter when it is that player s turn to feature.
