2 Pre-Registration Pre-registration packets will be mailed prior to the convention for all registrations RECEIVED BY ATHS HEADQUARTERS ON OR BEFORE MAY 11, Any registrations received AFTER May 11, 2012 WILL BE HELD FOR ON- SITE PROCESSING. These registrations will be available at Truck Registration for persons with trucks. Those persons without trucks need to enter through Gate 9A and pay the $10 per person gate fee, which will be applied to the registration cost. Youth 15 years of age and younger are free. All on-site registrants need to proceed to the ATHS Convention Registration area in the Mallary Building to complete the registration process and obtain their name badge. Canada Convoy Get your passport ready and gear up for a two-day convoy across New York and into Canada to visit Tackaberry G. & Son s Construction Ltd. Line up at 7 a.m. on Sunday for a continental breakfast in the Spectator Parking Lot at the Eastern States Exposition. Head out by 8 a.m. to Hudson Falls, N.Y. to spend the afternoon at the Haven s Family Heartland Hauling & Toy Museum. Then drive up to Plattsburgh, N.Y. to stay overnight at the Hampton Inn. On Monday, head to Athens, Ontario, Canada to visit George Tackaberry s large personal collection of antique vehicles. The tour ends on Monday, June 4 around 3 p.m. in Canada. No person shall operate a vehicle under its own power on the grounds unless the owner knows the brakes are in good working order, and it is otherwise in safe operating condition. 2. Vehicle operators must have a valid driver s license and must know how to drive the vehicle and safely stop it. 3. Each vehicle shall be taken to its designated display area and remain there, except when participating in an event or is moved as required or permitted by Show Management. 4. Parked vehicles shall be secured with a chock block. 5. All vehicles, machinery, or other loads that are on trucks or trailers must be securely fastened down. 6. Each show vehicle shall be equipped with an Underwriters Laboratories approved fi re extinguisher. 7. Fuel tanks shall be capped. Any fuel leakage will be grounds for barring entry of a vehicle or requiring its removal by towing from the display area. 8. Vehicle or attached or transported equipment engines shall not be run unless the vehicle owner, or other person authorized by the owner is in close attendance. 9. Vehicles must be operated in a cautious and safe manner at all times. 10. Every vehicle, including trailers, shall be covered by owner s liability insurance, except non-operational vehicles brought in on, and not removed from, trucks or trailers. I have read and understand the above safety rules, and agree to abide by these rules during this event.
