2 APCO International The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) - International is the world s oldest and largest organization of public safety communications professionals and supports the largest U.S. membership base of any public safety association. It serves the needs of public safety communications practitioners worldwide - and the welfare of the general public as a whole by providing complete expertise, professional development, technical assistance, advocacy and outreach. APCO International is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Association has over 27,000 members with Chapters in all 50 States. APCO also partners with affiliates in Great Britain and Canada. The Association s primary membership is comprised of Line and Management personnel from Police, Fire, EMS, Federal, State & Local Government, Transportation, Forestry Services, and a Commercial Membership that provides equipment or services that supports Public Safety. The APCO Western Region is comprised of 13 Western States (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming) and 2 U.S. Territories (Guam and American Samoa) APCO Western Regional Conference The 2017 APCO Western Regional Conference is an annual conference that brings training seminars, networking events, vendor exhibits, and keynote presentations on the current hot topics impacting Public Safety. The Conference provides classes on various issues set up in training tracks which are designated as Management, Operations, Technology, Networks/IT/GIS, and Special Interest sessions. Anyone registered for the Conference may attend any track or session that they may be interested in. The Conference includes a large exhibits floor with well over 100 exhibitor displays. The conference program provides for exclusive exhibits time for the exhibiters. The 2017 APCO Western Regional Conference will be held April 10-13, 2017 at the Ontario Convention Center, Ontario, CA. Past regional conferences held in the Southern California area have had over 1,800 registered attendees. 3 The Ontario Convention Center is a breathtaking venue, frequently used by filmmakers as an onsite location for movies and commercials. Contemporary in design and equipped with the latest in technology, it boasts more than 225,000 square feet of flexible exhibit, meeting and function space and is ideal for conventions, trade shows, exhibits and meetings. The Convention Center provides a full range of technology services, including Wi-Fi, Internet, DS3 and video-conferencing capabilities. There are 24 disabled parking spaces throughout our parking lots. Parking for all cars and motorcycles is at the rate of $10.00, limo/truck and trailer is at $15.00 and RV parking is $ Parking rates are per day, per entry (no in/out privilege). Cash and credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express) are accepted. Due to city regulations and insurance liability, overnight parking in the dock area or any OCC parking lot is prohibited. Passenger loading and unloading is permitted only along the convention center s east driveway. Due to fire code restrictions, parking on loading docks and or ramps is not allowed. Rental fee includes (1) 6 draped table, (2) chairs, (1) waste basket, electrical service (maximum 500 watts), and 7 x 44 booth ID sign. No deductions are given for unused items. The exhibit area aisles are carpeted. It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to order carpet for their respective booth space. Additional services and shipping information are available through the GES portal (web link below). Each 10'x10' registration receives (2) Exhibitor Passes, 2 meal vouchers per Pass, 4 drink tickets per Pass, and may attend the Wine & Cheese, Casino Night and Keynote Address. The free POST training sessions are not included. Additional registrations and function tickets may be purchased.
