Some major physical features are the Iguazu falls which are the world s largest waterfall system. Another is the Moreno Glacier.The andes are a chain of tall mountains that create a border between Argentina and Chile.

C f -Due to Spanish colonization most of today's inhabitants have european decent and speak spanish. Also another six years of secondary school.all public level of education is free.most students in the city go to public schools and in rural areas.wealthier citizens enroll their children in private schools.

9 E A T S L f - Primary schools tend to be more textbook and secondary school let students emphasize their strengthens and weaknesses.they focus on more analytical skills.higher education in Argentina consists of public and private universities. Public universities do not charge tuition and they tend to be overcrowded. Private universities are usually for the higher social class.

10 G A Most Argentinians are very hospitable especially in rural areas.the people of Argentina are very outgoing and love having fun with their friends and family.most of the population is well-educated and they value education.they are also very progressive and strive do to their best in all situations.argentinian s are very selfless and put their needs before others.

11 P A The personal appearances of the people of Argentina is very conservative.most people are well-dressed and take pride in their appearance.there is an emphasis for citizens to have a slender physique.europeans in the country tend to be more fashionable and their role is followed.

12 G A People of Argentina greet each other by shaking hands to show respect.they smile and wave at acquaintances.they say buenos dias(good morning) and buenas tardes(good afternoon).when greeting strangers they address them formally by giving them titles such as (senor or senora).friends and family have nicknames like gordita (little fat one) or flaco (skinny one).

13 C G Common gestures in Argentina include waving and extended index finger and thumb to call waiters to the tables. Giving your seat to pregnant women is also very common and is a sign of respect. When passing in between people excuse me is always said or it is seen as rude. Direct eye contact with unfamiliar people is seen as disrespectful. Also yawning without covering your mouth and pointing at strangers.

14 V E In Argentina proper manners are used when visiting foreign homes. When arriving and before leaving greeting everyone is seens as respectful. Group greetings are seen as rude. Usually when coming to other people s homes a gift is brought like wine or food. When going to other people s homes for dinner a small dish is brought. Also when done it is seen as rude to leave everything at the table usually guests help clean up.

15 F D T M - Proper table manners in Argentina include fork on the left hand and knife on the right. Both hands above the table (no elbows). Using a toothpick at the table is seen as bad manners also clearing your throat. T D - Typical food and drinks in Argentina include mate ( a special tea), asado (beef) the people of Argentina are big meat eaters. A special food in the country are empanadas (meat and vegetable turnovers). Also winter stew (made of meat,corn, and potatoes).

16 F Lf The basic family structure in Argentina is most middle class families have an average of two children. Most rural and poorer families have more than two children. The role of children is that they tend to be the center of the family. Parents usually sacrifice much to give their children a good education. Grown children are expected to take care of their aging parents.

17 G R Males and females have very different roles in Argentina. Males are seen as the head of household and they support the family financially. They also have the final say in decisions. They work long hours. Women are responsible for household things like cooking and cleaning. They play a important part in raising children.

18 H There are different housing in Argentina. Urban people tend to live in big cities. Most rent apartments and they are usually small. The rural people of Argentina usually have in stand-alone houses with large backyards. Most house have 2-3 bedrooms.

19 D E Most dating starts at the age of 15. Most dating consists of group activities like going to the movies, dancing,sports, and dining out. The age of 15 is very important for girls because they celebrate their quince. This supposedly the age where girls change from childhood to womanhood. Engagement usually occurs after several years of a serious relationship.

20 M W Marriages in Argentina are very important. They are the norm. Marriages are religious. Divorces are seen as unfavorable. Weddings are paid jointly by the couple s families. Weddings are usually at the church through the Roman catholic church.

21 R The major sport played in Argentina is soccer. People in the country watch tv,playing cards,relaxing with friends. People gather at parks for a asada (barbeque). Sundays in Argentina are for going out. People in Argentina usually take yearly vacations. The usually go to destinations within Argentina or neighboring countries.

22 T A Some of the arts in Argentina is music,opera houses,the tango ( spanish dance). There is also folk arts, horn carving, silverwork, leatherwork, ceramics and weaving.

23 H The holidays in Argentina include Dia De Las Malvinas commemorates Argentina s 1982 invasion of the falkland islands. Also Holy Week is the week leading up to easter. Also Christmas but they celebrate it on the 24th.

24 H In Argentina public hospitals offer care for free. Private healthcare is more ideal. Care is less reliable in rural areas. Public care is very overcrowded. Most disease that affect the people are lifestyle related diseases.

The sun is the sun of may. The color sky blue represents the clear skies and the white represents the snow of the Andes Mountains.
