An event that will bring you once-in-a-lifetime memories. A day that will blur the boundaries between fantasy and reality. The Dalmar wedding is derived from curated ideas and menus that are designed to inspire you to live out your dreams. We want it to be your wedding so working with you, we will design an event around your wishes and your dreams.
4 WEDDING PACKAGES Chicken or Poultry From $ Beef or Seafood From $ Dual Entree From $ INCLUDED. 1 hour cocktail reception includes tray passed bites 4 hour standard open bar Plated dinner service 1 appetizer or salad 1 or 2 entrees Dessert (or dessert and cake) A sparkling wine toast to the couple Prices per person, plus tax 6% and gratuity 24% Each event is five hours and can be extended for additional time if desired ALSO INCLUDED. 6 THE FINE PRINT GUARANTEES As you organize, please provide a number of joyous guests that are attending for guarantees to the Hotel. In order to best prepare for an extraordinary Event, we must be notified to hotel by 12pm, seven (7) business days prior to the event. If the guaranteed number is not provided, the billing will be calculated for the greater of the following: (1) the minimum number of persons for which the party was originally booked, or (2) the number of persons in attendance. Should more guests actually attend than guaranteed you will be charged for the greater amount. PRICES AND PAYMENT There is a 24% applicable taxable service charge on all food and beverage items and ceremony fees. Prices are subject to change, with guaranteed pricing six (6) months prior to the function date. 20% Deposit required at time of confirmation and signed contract 25% Due 90 days before event 25% Due 45 days before event Balance +10% estimated overage 14 business days before event The Hotel has, in good faith has protected your event space and special arrangements at the time an agreement is put in place. Therefore, in the event of a cancellation, a cancellation charge will be invoiced. The cancellation schedule will be outlined in the Catering Sales Agreement or Group Sales Agreement. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND SMOKE-FREE POLICY We respect the law. The State Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco regulates the sale and service of all alcoholic beverages. The Hotel is responsible for the administration of such regulations. Therefore, it is our policy that no alcoholic beverages may be brought into the Hotel for any conference or function. Only food purchased from the Hotel may be used during any conference or function at the Hotel. The Hotel maintains a smoke-free environment, including all guest rooms, restaurants, lounges, event rooms and public space. In the case of non-compliance, a fee per room will be incurred in order to cover the extensive cost of restoration to a smoke-free condition. SPECIAL CATERING SERVICES DECORATIONS/SIGNAGE Your Special Events Manager can refer you to amazing partners for cakes, florals, specialty furnishings, linens, theme props, entertainment and ice sculptures. We partner with several preferred vendors to assist you with creating an event to fit your specific needs. If you wish to enlist the services of a vendor other than our recommendations, please notify your Special Events Manager so we may share our policies and procedures with you. Decorations or displays brought into the Hotel must be approved prior to arrival. All decorations and displays must be in compliance with the State Building Code and meet the approval of the Fort Lauderdale Fire Marshall. Items may not be attached to any stationary wall, floor, window or ceiling with nails, tape, staples or any other means in order to prevent damage to the facility, fixtures and furnishings. All candles or any devices that emit flame or smoke must be enclosed in glass or non-flammable containers. Let s talk signs. We appreciate that you want to display your joy but we have a special place for these. Therefore, no signs of any kind are permitted in the lobby or on the public grounds. Signage is to be used outside meeting rooms only, and must not be larger that 2 feet wide and 3 feet high. Flip charts or blackboards are not permitted in any public area of the Hotel. Any registration needs must be confined to a function room or on the conference level only. LOADING AND UNLOADING OF EQUIPMENT You will always have deliveries for your special Day. For you and your vendors safety and to streamline, equipment must be loaded and unloaded at the loading dock in accordance with the Hotel s rules and local ordinances. MERCHANDISE OR ARTICLES I m sure you can appreciate that the Hotel shall not be responsible for damage or loss of any merchandise or articles brought into the Hotel or for any items left unattended. ADDITIONAL SERVICES We are generous but we pay bills too, so any services that would incur additional costs (e.g. power/electrical charges, chandelier removal, heat, furniture removal, lamps, decor, security, cars on drive way etc.) will be discussed with you by your Special Events Manager upon your request.
