For those of you new to our network, this meeting is the premier event for the Southwest Region of the National Dental PBRN. It will allow you to share experiences with members from Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Kansas and Oklahoma. Now in our third year, this year s meeting, Connecting and Collaborating: A Roadmap to Nationwide Research offers the opportunity to return the findings from our first network studies to your practice. That is, connecting the research with your practice. True to our mission, we will do so through a collaborative and interactive program that will allow you to share your thoughts and experiences as we continue to develop and extend our research ideas and directions. As most of us in the Southwest Region are new to PBRNs, I think this year s presentations will give us our first real feel for the potential that the network has to offer in addressing issues important to oral health. We continue to move forward as we start to obtain results from several exciting studies. You will hear about these and other studies to follow. Connecting and Collaborating! That is what we do, and what allows what we do to be the best it can be. Join us as we follow the roadmap to better oral health through research!
