The dummy paratrooper hangng on the steeple of the church representng John Steele, Borne 0 of the Way of Lberty, Arborne Museum, two modern stan wndows n Holly Mother of Peace-church or Paratroopers Memoral at la Fère are trbutes to ths event. In 1988, durng the dtchng of channels along the road to St. Georges de Bohon, t was removed from the mud and then exposed n 1991 under a shelter of land and Rotz (mxture of reeds and sedge). The barges are flat-bottomed boats, allowng easy passage nto the sometmes shallow marsh. They are bult manly of wood n oak or elm, a length of m. Two major projects to Trbehou flourshed between 1800 and 1854 gvng work to 10 carpenters and 53 boatmen.
