9 THE PORT IN FIGURES Each year, some 30,000 seagoig vessels call at the port of Rotterdam, as do 110,000 ilad vessels. Some 180,000 people work i ad aroud the port. Rotterdam is the largest port i Europe ad curretly the ith-largest port i the world. Today, some 470 millio toes of goods are trashipped here.
