The money you earn from the sale of popcorn will help meet the needs of your unit and help provide a quality program for your Scouts. The sale is also important to our Council. The funds earned by the Northeast Georgia Council from the sale of popcorn are used mainly to improve our properties. Since 2006, more than $3,455,000 of the proceeds from the sale of popcorn has been used to make improvements to our Council camps. Our Council is the only one in the nation to use proceeds from the popcorn sale in this manner. Thank you for your participation. Have a Great Sale and an even better year in Scouting! 4 commission structure BASE COMMISSION on all Popcorn Sales will be 32%. EARN 1% Extra Commission by attending one of the three Ideal Year of Scouting Brunches during the Summer. Your unit can earn up to 37% in commission for Take Order sales and Show N Sell sales of popcorn. EARN 1% Extra Commission by attending the Popcorn Sale Kickoff in your District on August 29. EARN 1% Extra Commission if your unit sells 5% more than total sales for EARN an additional 2% Extra Commission if unit sells 8% more than Commission on all Online sales is 35% and will be paid in February, 2019 by check. To earn the full commission, a Unit must pay for their popcorn by the November 28th deadline. Payments received on November 29th, or after will receive 10% less commission. scout rewards All Show N Sell, Door to Door, as well as Online Sales qualify for prizes! Add your own Unit Prizes for Scouts to work towards!! 1. Check out the Take Order Form for all of the Great prizes that a Scout can earn from the Council by selling popcorn. 2. Scouts are able to choose a combination of prizes from the prize program as long as the total prize value does not exceed the Level Achieved. 3. A Bonus Prize is available to every Scout who reaches the $700 level. 4. Every Scout that submits a Filled Up Take Order Form between September 7th and October 29th (a sale on each line x 30 lines) will receive a $10 Walmart Gift Card by return mail. There is no limit of the number of forms a Scout can submit as long as the sales have not been reported on another Fill It Up Form. All Filled Up Forms properly submitted will be placed in a drawing for a $1000 Visa Gift Card. 6. Members of the $1000 Club will be eligible for a party at Rockin Jump Trampoline Park on January 12 from 11 am to 1 pm. Limit first 175 Scouts to qulaify 7. Join the $1500 Club!! 5 Participation patch support Our military Sell one item receive a 2018 Northeast Georgia Council Patch. Must be ordered online with unit prizes at the end of the Multi-part Military Recognition for every Scout to earn. Must be ordered online with unit prizes at the end of the sale. One patch per Scout. Sell additional $50 in Military Donations earn Paratrooper Pin. For every additional $50 in Military Donations, receive another Paratrooper Pin. No combining of Scout s sales. 6 Ordering information Place Your Take Order by October 28th sell.trails-end.com The Trail s End Popcorn System will be used to place all orders for Take Order Product. Place traditional Take Order sales in the Trails End Popcorn System. Enter and/or track your unit s sales by Scout. (required for Scout to be invited to $1000 Club and $1500 Club parties!) Print reports/packing slips, etc. Order unit s prizes in the Popcorn System at the end of the sale. If you had an account in 2017, it will remain valid in same password. If you do not have an account, please contact your District Kernel or District Executive in your District. If you have not been able to login into the Popcorn System by September 7, contact your District Popcorn Chairman to have an account set-up for you. LOGGING IN Login to the Popcorn System at: sell.trails-end.com 1. Go to sell.trails-end.com in your internet browser (Firefox and Chrome are preferred). 2. Type your Username and Password into the respective fields. 3. Click the Sign In button 4. If you have forgotten your Username or Password, click the Need Help? link and follow the prompts to have your Username or Password ed to your address on record. A mid-sized car holds 15 cases, a sport utility vehicle holds 30 cases, and a mini-van (with seats removed) will hold 50 cases, a pick-up truck will hold 80 cases. Bring some adult volunteers along to help load the popcorn into vehicles and to help you unload.
