The weekly fish fry is headquartered here and the River Room at the front of the lodge is the ideal spot for families and groups to enjoy a great panoramic view while they sit and visit. The Lodge has TV and a gift shop for finding the perfect souvenir of your Minnesota vacation. Our Bed, Boat and Breakfast rooms above the Lodge provide comfortable accommodations for short visits or overflow guests. The waters of the Bowstring River system are clean and clear - great for swimming and boating. The river allows boat access to Sand or Little Sand Lakes where many guests spend their summer afternoons waterskiing and tubing. A short drive brings you to one of the sand beaches in the area allowing swimmers, sandcastle builders and sun-seekers an ideal way to spend a summer afternoon. Rent a boat or pontoon and spend hours exploring the wildlife that inhabits the shores of the Bowstring River and Rice Lake.

In 2015, a 12 x16 living room and covered porch were added, along with air conditioning. This cottage offers a full kitchen, ceiling fan, and a full bath with shower. Cottage #1 is a lakeside A-Frame remodeled in 2015, with a beautiful view of Little Sand Lake, ceiling fans, and cable TV in the living area. The full kitchen has modern appliances that include a dishwasher. It offers gas heat, a full kitchen, a ceiling fan and a full bath w/ shower. There is a queen bed in each bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living room.. This cottage has gas heat, a full bath w/shower, a fully equipped kitchen and a ceiling fan. Gas Range Living Room Sleeper sofa Dining Table Wall furnace Cottage #5 is a newer 2 bedroom unit that offers great views through its many Tub/ windows and screened porch. The full kitchen has lots of cupboard space and Dining Gas Range conveniently adjoins the dining area. This unit will sleep 6 people Screened Porch with a queen bed in one room, 2 twin beds in the second bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living room. Cottage #6 is a fully remodeled 3 bedroom unit that can sleep up to 8 people. This cottage has 1 queen bed, 4 twin beds, and a sleeper sofa. Cottage 6 offers a kitchen, dining room, 2 full baths with showers, a large deck, air-conditioning, and ceiling fans. Cottage #7 Cottage #6 Dining Living Room Sleeper sofa Cable TV Gas Range Private access to basement Cottage #7 is a newer air-conditioned 4 bedroom unit featuring a master bedroom with a queen bed, plus 3 bedrooms each with 2 twin beds. All have TVs with DVD players. All have Cable TV except Cottage 9. Cottage #3 Quiet and well-behaved pets (dogs only) are now allowed in all cabins with a pet charge and damage deposit. Porch Cottage #9 offers that close to nature feeling with a unit that is just a few feet from the river. This large one bedroom cottage has been completely remodeled with a full kitchen and bathroom with shower. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living area allowing up to 4 people to stay.

7 Reservation Policies You can check cabin availability and make online reservations by visiting our website at If you prefer, you may fill out our Availability Form or call our Toll Free Reservations Number: to discuss availability or to make a reservation. We strongly encourage you to make your reservations as far in advance as possible. The earlier you make arrangements, the better your chance of securing the accommodations that you would like. Once we have confirmed availability for your reservation, we ask that you send in our Reservation Form along with the deposit required. Please complete the form, sign and mail it to us at: Anchor Inn Resort Reservations County Rd 4 Spring Lake, MN We accept deposit payments via personal check or VISA/MasterCard. If you choose to pay your deposit via check we will hold your reservation for 7 Days to allow time for your reservation form and monies to reach us. The names of all guests must be listed on the reservation form. Anchor Inn Deposit Policy: Your deposit will hold your reservation until 6:00 PM on your scheduled day of arrival. Please let us know if you will be arriving after 6:00 PM. With at least 90 Days advance notice of cancellation, your deposit can be transferred to another date during the current season. If you cancel less than 90 Days before your scheduled arrival date we will refund 50% of your deposit (or do a short notice transfer) only if we are able to re-rent the cottage you initially reserved. If we are unable to re-rent the cottage, you will be held financially responsible for the full rental rate of your stay with us. No credit will be given for late arrivals or early departures. Daily reservations require a one night deposit. Groups of families reserving two or more cottages will be required to pay a nonrefundable deposit of 50% of the weekly rate for each unit. Please us at stay@anchorinnresort.com Anchor Inn Pet Policy: Quiet and Well-Behaved House Pets (dogs only) are accepted in the campground as well as all cottages. No pets of any kind are allowed in the Lodge rooms. Guests with a pet(s) who reserve a cottage will be charged a fee of $80 per week per pet and will be required to provide a $50 pet deposit upon check-in. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds, must be leashed, cleaned up after, and never left alone. Pet owners are responsible for all cleanup or damages caused by your pet. Upon check-out, we will determine if the pet deposit will be refunded based on our observations of the condition of the unit. Campers with pets in the campground will be charged $5 per day per pet. Please note: We will not be held responsible for any accidents caused by dog fights. We reserve the right to have noisy or threatening pets removed from the premises. Extra Person Charge: The extra person charge applies to any persons staying in a cottage beyond the base number of persons per cottage. A rate of $100/week/person or $25/day/person will be charged for those persons. Use of cottage facilities is considered occupancy, so groups or families using a cottage and sleeping extra persons in campers or tents must pay the extra person charge for every person over the base number of persons. All cottages have microwaves, fans, coffeemakers, appliances/house wares. Towels and Washcloths are NOT provided. All bed linens are provided, extras are available. Please request linens for futons and sleeper sofas when making reservations. All Cottages are Non-Smoking. A 6.875% Minnesota State Sales Tax will be applied to all rentals. VISA and MasterCard accepted. Weeks run from Saturday after 3 PM to Saturday at 9 AM. Please respect these times so that we can properly clean all cabins. Thank You!!
