20 Revitalize, Reconnect, and Explore The Pines of Kabetogama is proud to offer Geocaching for our Resort Guests. Simply put, Geocaching is a high-tech scavenger hunt using GPS enabled devices. This is a treasure hunt suitable for all ages. Players will be given GPS coordinates and directed to hidden Geocache containers throughout the 54-acre estate. You must use the GPS coordinates to find each Geocache. The cache is a hidden treasure in a waterproof container, along with a logbook. Upon finding a cache, you must sign your name in the logbook, return the logbook and help yourself to the treasure. Be sure to leave something behind for future geocache players. These coveted caches are hidden along various hiking trails on the property, providing you with an opportunity to explore the vast, unspoiled Northwoods at The Pines of Kabetogama Resort. To make the hunt even sweeter, we have one cache with a hidden treasure for you to bring to our General Store so you can exchange for a treat! We do have Lund, Pontoon, kayaks and paddle boards for rent. All boat rentals require a reservation and damage deposit. There is a designated fish cleaning area and we do offer fish cleaning and packing for a small fee. Rates - Open May through September Our rates vary by season. Rates are based on two adults. We do offer nightly rates if the cabin or RV site is available. Payment Valid Visa/Mastercard are accepted for rental, tax & incidentals. Reserve the Entire Camp The Pines of Kabetogama Resort offers cabin accommodations for groups of up to 32 guests. Choose from our luxuriously appointed cabins and spacious RV sites. Deposit Policy A deposit of 50% of rental is required at time of reservation. The balance is due upon arrival. We accept VISA, MasterCard and cash. Guests will be responsible for entire reservation if cancelled less than 60 days prior to the start of the reservation. We will make every attempt to reschedule your reservation if desired. Transportation to the Resort Our guests arrive by car or boat. International Falls is the nearest airport with rental cars available. Courtesy airport transportation from International Falls Airport for small fee. 23

26 FAQs Frequently Asked Questions What is included in cabin rental? Cabin rental is based on occupancy, please refer to your booking confirmation. You have access to our dock, board walk and surrounding property. Your stay begins at 3:00 pm on the day of arrival and check out is 11:00 am on the day of departure. The Pines of Kabetogama will make every effort to fulfill requests for early arrival and late departures. However, special requests are based on availability and cannot be guaranteed. What are dining options while staying at The Pines of Kabetogama Resort? All cabins are kitchen-equipped with refrigerator, range, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker. We do have a small general store & off sale liquor available. Arrangements can be made for grocery shopping at time of reservations. Area restaurants are open seasonally. Are pets allowed at the resort? We prefer you leave your pets at home. If you bring your pet, the fee is $35.00 per night per pet plus sales tax. Vaccination records are required prior to arrival. Pet owners are responsible for immediate clean-up and accidents. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds and must be crated while in the cabins. Outside the cabin, dogs must be on a leash. Cats are not allowed at the resort. How do I determine which cabin is best for my group? Each cabin has a unique historical layout, offering a variety of options that will cater to the size and specific needs of your family or group. May I have nonregistered guests or visitors? Visitors must check in at the office before proceeding to visit any guest and are expected to arrive between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Overnight nonregistered guests there will be an additional charge of $35.00 per guest plus sales tax for any guest joining a cabin. Please refer to your booking confirmation, this defines the number of guests allowed per cabin. Nonregistered guests may be limited at the discretion of management. Are there smoking and nonsmoking rooms? All of our cabins are smoke free. You can smoke at your campsite and on the porch of your cabin. Damage to Property and Cabins Guests are responsible for loss of resort property and cost of damages to resort properties, cabins and boats. Is Wi-Fi available? Wi-Fi is available, but service is limited due to our remote location. 24
