3 Mississauga Area Pioneer Camp at Totoredaka The following events have been identified as critically needed skills to engage in a safe and successful Scouting program. These skills will be taught on a round robin basis The camp fees cover 2 night stay per person and the cost for lunch on Saturday. Troops are responsible for all other meals. Troops (and Companies) beyond Mississauga South are invited to participate. 1. First Aid Voyageur Outdoor #3 2. Stove & Lantern Safety Voyageur Outdoor #8 3. Knots Voyageur Outdoor #16 4. Light a Fire Voyageur Outdoor #12 5. Map & Compass Voyageur Outdoor #9 6. Knife Safety Voyageur Outdoor #8 7. Axe and Saw Safety Voyageur Outdoor #8 Report Cards will be filled in regarding each requirement for participants. It is still incumbent on the troop scouter or councilor to be personally satisfied that the skill has been mastered by the paricipant. As in the past, all training is done on a co-operative basis. Other Voyageur requirements will be completed at this camp such as Outdoor #13 (by preparing your dinners), and Outdoor #15, (campsite layout) and Outdoor #1, (2 of your 6 nights) New leaders are welcome to receive additional mentoring on the Friday and Saturday nights if interested. Please return your registration forms as soon as possible by . Registration fees may be brought to camp.
