1 Social Time 9:00 Meeting starts at 9: April 2015 Welcoming new members to the Greater 285 Corridor through social & civic activities There are no strangers here, only friends who haven t met. President's Message IMPORTANT NOTICE Our April meeting will be held in the downstairs location of the hall we usually meet in. You can enter the building from the office door at the other end of the building to avoid the stairs. Friday is the first day of Spring, right on the heels of St. Patrick's Day- this is a great time of the year, in fact, come to think about it, this has been a really wonderful year all around! No matter how many times I have participated in presentations given by the area fire districts, I always learn something about mitigation, evacuation, etc. I can honestly say that before moving to Conifer I naively never gave fire dangers a second thought. Now, nine years and fires I watched from my deck later, I appreciate these services more than ever and can hardly wait to hear them again. Life savers doesn't even begin to describe them!! Bring your neighborhood friends to hear what we should expect for the 2015 season. And, after last months lessons on moisturizers, concealers, et all, I am ready for spring...how much fun was that? Thanks to Janet and March's speakers for their knowledgeable and interesting presentations... Busy times are before us as we prepare for our upcoming Spring Luncheon followed immediately by the May meeting. This next meeting will present our slate of officers for June's elections. How fortunate we all are that members continue to step up... So let's look forward to clear blue skies and good times See you all soon, Cynthia The refreshments for the April meeting will be provided for by members Garin - Penland on the roster. Greeters will be represented by members of the Skiing Group. Please check in with Beth Kramer at 8:45. Apr. 3 CNN meeting Program: Local fire departments will have tables with information about fire safety, mitigation, volunteerism, and products to keep your family safe. Try out a fire extinguisher in a hands-on demonstration outside! Apr. 4 Wine Tasting Apr. 10 Touring Lunch Bunch Apr. 17 Ladies Do Lunch Apr. 24 Garden Club Apr.27 Book Talk
