1 Social Time 9:00 Meeting starts at 9: May 2015 Welcoming new members to the Greater 285 Corridor through social & civic activities There are no strangers here, only friends who haven t met. President's Message There are certainly places I've lived where the adage " April showers bring May flowers" was surely true, but I can't remember the last time it rained up here on Conifer Mountain...as I now sit in my great room, after a couple of days in capris, it's snowing! After the wonderful presentations from our fire district personnel, I now see this as a true blessing! Sunglasses to snow shovels, like I said earlier, I always learn something from these speakers, and April didn't disappoint. Our May meeting is scheduled for the day after our Spring Luncheon and I'm sure there will be plenty to talk about as they are always such fun! A great opportunity to see members in a different light, I'm excited to see what Debbie and her wonderful committee have planned. In advance, thanks to all of you who have put in time to pull this event together. On the agenda for this meeting will be a discussion of our use of blasts. I have been contacted by a member with some concerns, so we'll open up the conversation and see what all of you think. Any other members requiring time for announcements, please me. Another reminder to all Special Interest group chairs to get me pictures of your group at the May meeting for this year's "memory book". We can't put the book together without your help and this is a tradition we don't want to drop. Theresa Garin did a beautiful job in the past, and Cheri Lepro has graciously volunteered to put it together if we are able to provide her with our photos. Looking forward to seeing all you "stars" at the meeting Cynthia The refreshments for the April meeting will be provided for by members Allen - Eck on the roster. Greeters will be represented by members of the Book Talk Group. Please check in with Beth Kramer at 8:45.
