Now you an easily generate and manage your exhibitor passes, visitor admission vouhers and set-up and dismantling passes online at Here s how the Tiket Servies for Exhibitors portal works As the main ontat person for trade fair organisation, you or someone you have designated as a representative an use the new portal to generate the desired number of personalised exhibitor passes and set-up and dismantling passes. You will be sent the requested passes by , and an print them yourself. Things you should know 1. The exhibitor passes that used to be sent with the servie folder have now been replaed by our new digital tiket servie. Your alloation of free passes is automatially assigned to your stand, and is displayed for you in the portal. 2. One you have used up your alloation of free passes, you will only pay for those passes atually used to enter the trade fair that exeed this alloation. 3. You will also be able to generate your set-up and dismantling passes easily using the Tiket Servies for Exhibitors portal in future. This funtion will be available for you in our portal from June This is what the new Tiket Servies for Exhibitors portal looks like. The image on the left shows the start page, where you an selet the relevant event. Next to this you will find an overview of the exhibitor passes that have already been reated. 7 7 From June 2018 you will be able to generate your set-up and dismantling passes digitally using our Tiket Servies for Exhibitors portal. Would you like to invite your ustomers to Automehanika? If so, you an now use our new Tiket Servies for Exhibitors portal to book your visitor admission vouhers. The following options are available: 1. You an use the portal to send your ustomer a vouher link. This vouher is sent in the form of an in your name that ontains a link to Messe Frankfurt s tiket shop. Here your guest an onvert their vouher into a regular tiket. 2. You an download visitor admission vouhers in the form of vouher odes or PDF tikets, and send these to your ustomers. Promotional materials in the Automehanika look If you would prefer to use promotional materials in the event s look for Automehanika to invite your ustomers to your stand, we ontinue to offer you a wide range of print and digital advertising materials (printed vouhers, tiket envelopes, e-ards et.) in our online promotion shop: Online Promotion Shop. 10 10 Driving onto the Exhibition Grounds During Set-up and Dismantling Please note: every vehile that wishes to enter the exhibition grounds during set-up and dismantling must first register and report to the Chek-In. It is only after this has taken plae that vehiles an drive onto the exhibition grounds. Messe Frankfurt offers a digital Central Traffi Management system for this purpose. The system optimises aess to the exhibition grounds during the set-up and dismantling phases of events. Things you should know Registration for entry takes plae in two steps: 1. Vehile registration in advane online or on site 2. Chek-in at one of the registration areas How to register your vehile There are two ways in whih your vehiles an be registered: In advane using our online portal On site at one of the registration areas Please make sure that you always have the following information ready: Plate number of the vehile that is to enter the exhibition grounds Driver s name Driver s mobile phone number Freight forwarder s name / Supplier s ompany name Hall + stand number (e.g. 3.1 A26) Logistis servies have been ordered: Yes / No Chek-in When approahing the exhibition grounds, please follow the signs to Chek-In. These will diret you to the urrent registration area. One there, you will be given a vehile admission pass speifying the gate through whih you are to enter the exhibition grounds. You may only enter the exhibition grounds through the gate assigned to you at the Chek-In. The vehile admission pass is only valid for this gate. These must also be ordered through the Shop for Exhibitor Servies by no later than six weeks before the start of the event.

Admission for speial dismantling vehiles on from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The trade fair ends at 5 p.m. on the final day of the event. On from 5 to 8 p.m., we offer you the opportunity to remove small items in advane of general admission for dismantling vehiles. We will be issuing a limited number of speial dismantling vehile passes for ars and vans up to 3.5 t gross vehile weight rating during last two days of set-up and during the trade fair itself until all have been taken. You an obtain these speial dismantling vehile passes at the Central Information Desk on Level 03 of the Torhaus by signing a delaration that you will be harged an additional when invoied for your anillary osts if you do not leave the exhibition grounds with your vehile by the deadline speified in the pass. Speial dismantling vehile passes will only be issued to exhibi-

13 13 tors upon presentation of an exhibitor ID and ustomer number. The number of these passes is limited to a maximum of 400, so we reommend that you obtain yours as early as possible. They annot be ordered in advane. Entry starting at 5 p.m. and departure by no later than 7:30 p.m. are only possible at the gate speified on the pass. If you leave the exhibition grounds with your vehile by 7:30 p.m., you will not be harged for your speial dismantling vehile pass. For departures after 7:30 p.m., your pass serves as your reeipt and we will inlude a harge with your anillary osts invoie. Please note that you will not be able to use the goods lifts due to the fat that the removal of the aisle arpeting from the exhibition halls and delivery of empty paking materials by the Logistis Servie take plae at the same time. Vehile Transporter Vehile transporter drive to the assembly point at the Rebstok ar park. This is the only plae you an reeive a speial entry permit. Entry into the exhibition grounds is possible after 5:30 p.m., the exit must take plae until 9:30 p.m. General admission for dismantling vehiles on after 10 p.m. Please drive your dismantling vehiles straight to the designated dismantling assembly point at the Rebstok ar park. This is the only plae you an reeive your dismantling vehile pass to enter the exhibition grounds, and it is the only plae where polie will permit and diret entry starting after 10 p.m. Aess from other streets will not be granted until all of the vehiles from this area have already entered the exhibition grounds. It is only after this has ourred that ars from the ar parks on the exhibition grounds will also be permitted to drive to the halls. Dismantling In order to avoid waiting times, register in advane for the entrane to the exhibition grounds via our online portal. On page 10 you an read, how the registration works. All vehiles must depart the exhibition grounds as soon as they have been unloaded/loaded. Vehiles that stay longer than permitted may be towed away at the owner s expense. These diretories have nothing to do with the offiial exhibitor diretory as issued by Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH. These ompanies are trying to get you to pay for an entry in their exhibitor diretory using the subjet heading of Datenkontrolle or data update. If you want to appear only in the offiial exhibitor diretory as issued by Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH, then please deline these offers. The offiial exhibitor diretory as well as all online media are stritly issued by Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH in ollaboration with Messe Frankfurt Medien und Servie GmbH. Those exhibitors who have addressed their shipments in a different manner have been faing a delay in ustoms learane. Given the relatively short duration of events, there is a danger that suh pakages might not be delivered at all. This is why we ask that you address your shipments as detailed above, in order to ensure that they an be delivered without diffulty. Register your produts and brands with the appropriate authorities. When doing so, please take into aount that protetion takes effet only upon registration, not, however, upon appliation. Therefore, please take early ation. Gather all doumentation pertaining to your registered intelletual property rights in the appropriate formats original douments, notarised opies, registration numbers and keep these on hand during the trade fair. If you antiipate enountering infringements of third-party rights at our trade fair, we suggest that you try to resolve these in advane. Get in touh with the potential infringer. Advise your soliitor that there might be potential onflits during the trade fair. During the trade fair Do not onfront the ompetitor diretly with ausations, so as to avoid an esalation of the situation. Carefully safeguard all doumentation. 18 18 Wireless Internet at Trade Fairs A trade fair organiser s manual Dear exhibitors, Nowadays, wireless internet aess is a neessity and a matter of ourse. Wi-Fi has beome an essential tehnology of the wireless data transfer and nearly every portable terminal worldwide an be onneted to it. For that reason, it is very important for us to ensure a good wireless internet overage at the exhibition entre. With this leaflet we inform you about some basi rules whih add to run wireless internet systems at trade fairs effiient and troublefree. We invite you to familiarise yourself with those rules. Similar to the road traffi, in Wi-Fi systems it is also neessary to establish some rules to ensure that all road users an get to their destination with maximum effiieny and unsathed. These rules refer to Aess Points whih you possibly intend to use in your booth. We would kindly ask you to observe these rules, also in your own best interest. This is important beause Wi-Fi Aess Points use a joint medium, whih is limited by physial fats the spread of eletromagneti waves in the air. These waves an overlap and interfere eah other so that none of the signals an get to the reeiver with the required quality. To stay in the road traffi illustration: the Wi-Fi signals spread out like ars on a three-lane motorway. It is reasonable that different road users use different lanes and a traffi jam happens when too many ars use the motorway at the same time. Hene following rules apply in all exhibition entres in Germany: 1. Wi-Fi Aess Points may only send in a frequeny range of 2,4 GHz, not at 5 GHz. This setting an be seleted in the onfiguration menu of your Aess Points.

19 19 2. Wi-Fi Aess Points may only send in hannels 1, 6 or 11. This setting an be seleted in the onfiguration menu of your Aess Points. 3. The transmission power of your Wi-Fi Aess Points may not be more than -80 dbm at the border of your booth. You an adjust the transmission power in the onfiguration menu. The Aess Point s loation on your booth affets how strong the signal is at the border of the booth. 4. The SSID, whih is the identifiation of your Aess Point, has to ontain your booth number in the first haraters (for example H4.0 B42). This way it is easy to hek if one transmitter is onfigured inadequately a priniple of fairness, beause you want that your booth neighbours also observe the rules, just like you. You are also allowed to onfigure the Aess Point in a way that it does not send a visible SSID. 5. Channel Bonding is not permitted. 6. Other transmitters than your Wi-Fi Aess Points are stritly not permitted, they an disrupt the data signals. If you use other transmitters in the produts you are exhibiting, please ontat us in advane. We are onvined that it is in everyone s interest to establish the same traffi rules for the usage of your personal Aess Points at exhibition entres in Germany and to demand their adherene. Like this, time-onsuming resetting or questions regarding the usage of Aess Points an be avoided at an early stage. Your trade fair organisers will gladly provide you with appliation forms so that you an register your Aess Points. Please submit these forms in time; it helps to ensure that these rules are observed.
