1 This Traffic Guide is part of the Exhibition Contract. Low-Emission Zone Frankfurt The city of Frankfurt has a low-emission zone. This zone can only be accessed by vehicles belonging to ollutant Group 4 and bearing the appropriate emissions stickers Emissions stickers indicating the relevant ollutant Group can be ordered for vehicles from Germany and abroad at Stickers can be purchased from: Zulassungsbehörde für Kraftfahrzeuge, Am Römerhof 19, Frankfurt am Main, Tel.: , Monday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm (after previous notice), Tuesday, Wednesday, from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm, Thursday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday from 7:30 am to 12:00 noon. TÜV Service Center Frankfurt Rebstock, Am Römerhof 15, Frankfurt am Main, Tel.: , Monday Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Access to the exhibition grounds: The low-emission zone in Frankfurt is located within the motorway ring road, comprising the motorways A5 in the west, A3 in the south and A661 in the east. Vehicles bearing the relevant emissions sticker can access the exhibition grounds at any time. Vehicles without an emissions sticker can also reach the exhibition grounds via Tor West (West Gate) and Tor Nord (North Gate). These gates can be reached via the A648 motorway (coming from the A5) taking the Rebstock exit or via the Katharinenkreisel (roundabout). Messe Frankfurt s Rebstock multi-storey car park can also be reached via the Rebstock exit. Driving a vehicle into the low-emission zone without an emissions sticker constitutes an offence and is subject to a fine. Set-up You have almost 7 full days You can begin setting-up your exhibition stand on June 4, 2018, at 7:00 am. Set-up time is 24 hours daily. Set-up ends on June 10, 2018 at 2:00 pm (after that time you can decorate your stand until 10:00 pm). If this time is not sufficient for you, you can apply for early set-up, at no charge. Advance set-up can be ordered for June 1, 2018 until June 3, 2018 (7:00 am to 5:00 pm) via the exhibitor online portal of ACEMA. For May 30, 2018 for halls 3, 4, 8 and for May 31 for halls 5, 6, 9, 11 you can send your application for advance set-up (7:00 am to 5:00 pm) via the technicalservices@dechema.de only. During advance set-up, halls will be open from 7:00am 5:00pm. lease note, that not all lifts will be available. We care about your safety One of our aims is to give all exhibitors the chance to load and unload trucks in the loading zone of their exhibition hall. A second important aim is to do our utmost to ensure your safety. For this, however, we need your support. All emergency routes and access points must be kept clear at all times. This also applies to hall entrances and the areas in front of the lifts. lease note that the speed limit on the exhibition grounds is 30 km/h. 2 Access to the exhibition grounds during set-up ATTENTION: Messe Frankfurt uses a new integral traffic control and information system! Resultant in changing the access regulations. Every vehicle which intends to enter the exhibition ground during set-up and dismantling has to apply at the Check-in. Only at the Check-in an entry authorization will be issued. This applies to vehicles of all classes (passenger cars, vans, trucks). To speed up this process it is recommendable to register the vehicles in advance. This is possible via the Online ortal of Messe Frankfurt You will receive a confirmation with which you can apply quickly and efficiently at the Check-in. Depending on the construction progress and the situation on the exhibition grounds, the check-in is located outside the fairgrounds at the Rebstock or directly at the gates. lease always follow the current Check-in signage. Service staff will scan this confirmation at the Check-in. The Check-in is used to collect all required vehicle and exhibitor data, as well as to clarify open questions. For example if a logistic service order, like a fork-lift, is necessary. This leads to a smooth loading and unloading process at the exhibition center. Depending on the situation at the exhibition grounds (free space for loading/unloading, logistic service orders) the vehicle receives the entry authorization to the exhibition grounds. Should this not be possible the cars will be placed in a buffer area and will be called up by SMS if the appropriate space is available. Vehicles WITOUT entry authorization will not be allowed on the exhibition grounds. Information about our entry system can be found under Which set-up vehicles can enter the exhibition grounds? When? ow long? To enable all exhibitors to have an equal opportunity to unload in the loading zone of their exhibition hall, set-up passes specify the times by which the vehicles must have left the exhibition grounds. All vehicles must depart the exhibition grounds as soon as they have been loaded / unloaded. The following loading times must not be exceeded: Trucks over 7.5 t gross vehicle weight rating: May 30 June 10, 2018, max. 4 hours Trucks over 3.5 t up to 7.5 t gross vehicle weight rating: May 30 June 8, 2018, max. 4 hours June 9 June 10, 2018, max. 2 hours Vans up to 3.5 t gross vehicle weight rating and cars with and without trailers: May 30 June 3, 2018, max. 2 hours June 4 June 10, 2018, no access to exhibition halls These times also apply to any associated trailers, semi-trailers and swap bodies. 3 Stress-free set-up during the night The exhibition halls are open 24h a day during the official set-up period. Take advantage of the quieter night-time hours to set up your stand. From 10:00 pm to 6:00 am the time limit is cancelled, you can leave your vehicle parked at the exhibition hall as long as you wish. No night surcharges will be levied on orders for night-time forklifts or personnel! We keep the loading areas clear of cars If you do not have to drive into the loading zones or only have small loads to deliver there are car parking spaces available for you. The entrance after registration (see above), is only possible at Tor Nord (North Gate) for exhibitors in halls 1 6, and at Tor 9 (Gate 9) for exhibitors in halls On June 10, 2018, you will have the possibility to park free of charge at Rebstock car park. Shuttles will be available at Rebstock car park to the exhibition grounds and back to your vehicle. arking your containers, swap bodies and trailers requires our authorisation The parking of containers, swap bodies, trailers and other storage units on the exhibition grounds must be coordinated directly with us. lease send us your enquiry via our Exhibitor ortal or by technicalservices@dechema.de. lease understand that we can only authorise the parking of storage units during ACEMA if they are directly necessary for supplying the stand, e.g. for storing brochures or cooling units for perishable goods. All unauthorised storage units will be removed at the exhibitor s expense. You can rent loading & unloading devices from us Cranes, forklifts and other devices for loading/unloading may only be used by Messe Frankfurt s Logistics Service. The employment of exhibitors own forklifts is prohibited for safety reasons. If required, forklifts for loading/unloading will be available on a fee basis from Messe Frankfurt s Logistics Service. The utilisation of electric lift trucks for transporting goods at ground level is permitted. Electric lift trucks may only be used for assembly work on the rented stand area; their use for loading or unloading is prohibited. lease find more details and order forms in our Exhibitor ortal. End of set-up Set-up ends at 2:00 pm on June 10, 2018, the day before ACEMA begins. By that time, all hall aisles, circulation areas and special zones must be kept clear so that the halls and the grounds may be cleaned and the aisle carpeting may be laid. lease continuously remove stand-construction materials, exhibits and empties from the aisles so that all this work can start punctually at 2.00 pm. Stand decoration is possible until 10:00 pm. During the event Car park reservations We provide parking spaces (at extra cost) for cars up to 2.5 t gross vehicle weight for the duration of the event. lease reserve your parking space(s) in good time before the event via our Exhibitor ortal. arking facilities for vans and trucks are available for a fee at the truck parking area of Messe Frankfurt Venue Gmb, Rebstock parking E and E1. (Trucks 10m 27/day, Trucks > 10m 31/day). Your delivery vehicles can enter the exhibition grounds during the fair It is possible to drive into the exhibition grounds for one hour to deliver goods during the fair (on the last day of the event, June 15, 2018, only until 2:00 pm). At the entrance to the exhibition grounds, each driver must pay a deposit of which will be forfeited if the deadline is exceeded. Coaches during the event Coaches can drive into the exhibition grounds to allow passengers to get on and off via Tor Süd (South Gate for halls 1-6) and Tor Nord (North Gate for halls 8-11). Outside the exhibition grounds: coach park in Braunfelsstraße (near Galleria entrance). There is a parking fee for coaches (per Bus 25/day). DECEMA Ausstellungs-Gmb 3

4 Dismantling On Friday, June 15, 2018, ACEMA ends at 4:00 pm! Vehicles will not be allowed to enter the exhibition grounds after 2:00 pm. From 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm no goods lifts will be available and all gates will remain closed, as aisle carpeting has to be removed. You only need to remove your coffee machine We offer you the opportunity to remove small items in advance of general admission for dismantling vehicles on Friday, June 15, 2018, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. There is only a limited number of Special Dismantling asses which are restricted to cars and vans up to 3.5 t gross vehicle weight. Special Dismantling asses can only be obtained on the last two set-up days and during the event from the Technical Services Centre in all 4C upon a cost takeover declaration that you are charged 200 with the additional costs billing of Messe Frankfurt, if you do not leave the exhibition grounds on the deadline specified in the pass. Special Dismantling asses are only issued to exhibitors against proof (exhibitor pass). The number of these passes is limited to a maximum of 400. We therefore recommend that you make an early effort, but point out that pre-booking is not possible. The passes will be issued from in the time from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Entry starting at 4:00 pm and departure by no later than 6:00 pm are only possible at the gate specified on the pass. Your pass will not be charged only if you leave the exhibition grounds with your vehicle by 6:00 pm. After 6:00 pm, you keep the Special Dismantling ass as a receipt and the 200 will be charged with the additional costs billing of Messe Frankfurt. lease note that goods lifts will not be available and the gates in the lower hall levels will remain closed due to the fact that the aisle carpeting will be removed from the exhibition halls at the same time. lease note the empties night There is a large amount of empty packaging at ACEMA. To ensure your safety, the exhibition grounds will remain closed on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 2.00 am to 8:00 am. Empties will be available at your stand at 8:00 am. Exception: riority Empties Delivery. If you have stored only a small amount of empty packaging and urgently require it on June 15, 2018, you can order riority Empties Delivery (max. 15 m³, limited allocation) from the Logistics Service of Messe Frankfurt. lease order early! These empties will be delivered to your stand on June 15, 2018, between 5:30 pm and 10:00 pm. Forklifts must be ordered well in advance and will not be available until June 16, 2018 from 8:00 am onwards. We route your dismantling vehicles into the exhibition grounds On Friday, June 15, 2018, only vehicles up to 7.49 t gross vehicle weight rating can enter the exhibition grounds. lease drive your vehicles straight to the designated assembly point for dismantling vehicles on the Rebstock parking area. This is the only place where you can receive your dismantling vehicle pass to enter the exhibition grounds, and it is the only place where entry will begin at 6:30 pm. On Saturday, June 16, 2018, all vehicles must have left the exhibition grounds by 2:00 am at night to ensure safe delivery of empties to the stands. Entry is possible for cars only at Tor Nord (north gate) and Tor 9 (gate 9) to reach car parking areas at halls 4 and 9. DECEMA Ausstellungs-Gmb 4

5 IMORTANT NOTICE for dismantling from Saturday, June 16, 2018, until Tuesday, June 19, 2018 On Saturday, June 16, 2018, the exhibition grounds will open again at 8:00 am for all vehicles. All vehicles have to line up at the Check-In. Only vehicles registered at the check-in will gain access according to the situation on the exhibition site. reliminary registration please as for set-up via Also the further handling via the Check-In and the access to the grounds is analogous to the set-up regulations. lease follow the staff s instructions on site. Unloading and uploading zones in proximity to the halls will be assigned to trailer trucks exclusively. For trucks < 7,5 t and vans, special loading zones will be indicated on site. Cars may only be parked and loaded at parking areas of halls 4 and 9 during dismantling period. On June 16, 2018, forklifts will be available, provided they have been ordered well in advance. Last, but not least lease observe the heavy vehicles driving ban on Sundays for all vehicles over 7.49 t gross vehicle weight rating. Dismantling ends on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 6:00 pm Extended dismantling is possible up to 12:00 noon on June 20, 2018 at a charge ( /h/per booth). Applications for extended dismantling must be made by June 13, 2018 by to technicalservices@dechema.de. Costs will increase by 100% for applications which are not due in time. Any questions?
