ALMOST 3,000 EMPLOYEES Fletcher Construction is a leading New Zealand and Pacific islands construction company offering a full range of construction services across civil engineering, commercial and interior projects. For more than a century, Fletcher has established industry leadership through its focus on delivering more than simply achieving the agreed time, cost, and quality parameters for clients. Its focus on client objectives and its clients clients has created a strong and enduring culture that adds value beyond the delivery of construction. Fletcher Construction is the go to contractor for large, complex and high profile projects for institutional, Government and commercial projects in New Zealand and the South Pacific. 2 THE FLETCHER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY

Fletcher Building s strong balance sheet makes Fletcher Construction an attractive construction partner for a range of project financial structures: We are a highly attractive partner in Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) for organisations wishing to invest debt and equity in infrastructure. Fletcher Construction has worked closely with appropriately skilled financial advisors to raise debt and equity finance for proposals for infrastructure projects to be delivered as PPP projects including prisons and highways. One such project is the Auckland South Correctional Facility recently completed by Fletcher. Our strong balance sheet means we are able to act in a funding role ourselves. We are currently jointly developing the new head office for Fonterra, New Zealand s largest company, in conjunction with a local property company. We are also a major residential developer, with our largest project to date (Stonefields) including over 2,500 dwellings when completed. We have strong existing relationships with financial institutions and are confident we can secure funding under any project financing model. 3

28 Trusted by Government to rebuild Christchurch HELPING THE RECOVERY IN CANTERBURY REBUILDING A STRONGER CHRISTCHURCH The Christchurch Earthquake caused significant damage, so the EQC established the Earthquake Recover (EQR) Project Management Office and appointed Fletcher Construction to run it. EQR is operated from a central office based in Christchurch, with localised Hub office construction teams based in the community. EQR is managing repairs to houses where the damage has been assessed at between $10,000 and $100,000 plus GST. Fletcher Construction together with City Care, Fulton Hogan, Downer and MacDow have formed an Alliance to repair and reconstruct streets and services for Christchurch City Council in an agreement valued at approx $2.5 billion. This is a major undertaking, with work expected to continue for five years. 26 THE FLETCHER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
