4 ECONOMIC BENEFITS TO AUSTRALIA INPEX, as operator of Ichthys LNG, is making enormous and multi-generational contributions to the Australian economy, particularly the Northern Territory (NT) and Western Australian (WA) economies and communities.* AUSTRALIA Bladin Point A$ 195 billion in exports for Australia A$ 190 billion in additional Gross Domestic Product for Australia A$ 91 billion increase in Australian real income % A$ 73 billion in taxation revenue for governments in Australia (on average A$ 1.9 billion per annum) 1800 full-time jobs per annum on average.
5 NORTHERN TERRITORY A$ 118 billion boost in economic output in the NT A$ 14 billion increase in real incomes for Territorians A$ 2.6 billion in taxation revenue for the Northern Territory Government 600 full-time jobs created on average per annum (direct and indirect). 6 OTHER AUSTRALIAN PROJECTS Van Gogh and Coniston Operator: Quadrant Energy INPEX share: per cent Status: the Ningaloo Vision (FPSO) has serviced the Van Gogh oil field since 2010, with production augmented in 2015 by the tie-back of the Coniston/Novara developments Production: around 8,000 barrels of oil per day. Ravensworth Operator: BHP INPEX share: 28.5 per cent Status: in production since 2010 Production: currently at 7,000 barrels of crude oil per day. Prelude FLNG Operator: Shell INPEX share: 17.5 per cent Status: production scheduled to commence 2018 Production: expected at least 3.6 mtpa of LNG, 400,000 tonnes of LPG per annum at peak and about 1.3 mtpa of condensate. Bayu-Undan / Darwin LNG Operator: ConocoPhillips INPEX share: per cent Status: in production since 2006 Production: annual LNG capacity of up to 3.7 mtpa. Average of one cargo per week.
