2 D O A C Annual Installation/Awards Gala November 10th, Caesars Casino & Hotel 2015 Officers Installation The Silver Anniversary of the Installation/Awards Gala will take place on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at host sponsor, Caesars Casino & Hotel (Palladium Ballroom) in Atlantic City. The Installation Gala has become the business/social event of the Fall season. Over 1,200 guests attended last year when we honored Atlantic City Mayor and Vice President, Hon. Don Guardian. This year we are happy to announce that we will be saluting Pinky Kravitz with the Community Spirit Award. He will be honored for over five decades as the country s longest running radio host. Pinky was our first media member as well as our first master of ceremonies. He is the founder of the Armed Services Parade and Chairman of the Boardwalk Committee. He also contributes to numerous civic and charitable organizations in the Greater Atlantic City region. He truly is our own " Mr. Atlantic City". The award will be given by President John Shultz and Master of Ceremonies and General Counsel Lloyd D. Levenson, Esq. of the Cooper Levenson Law Firm. Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian will install the 2016 Board Members, including newly elected member Dean Ellison of Golden Nugget Atlantic City. This year's cocktail reception/dinner begins at 5:30 pm with passed hors d'ouevres followed by a fabulous Gala Dinner at 6:30 pm. The evening includes a deluxe Silent Auction with sports and celebrity Items as well as experience packages. Rock It Entertainment will entertain us with the music of 1990 (our inaugural year) and the present. We hope you will participate and help us salute one off our very special members " Pinky " and as we celebrate 25 years serving the Atlantic City Region. 3 DO AC SUMMER MIXER & SILENT AUCTION "LUAU ON THE LAWN" at GOLDEN NUGGET - A HUGE SUCCESS The Popular Summer Mixer and Silent Auction took place at THE LAWN of the Golden Nugget Casino overlooking the bay and city on July 29th. Over 700 people attended the famous Auction and Summer Mixer dressed in Hawaiian attire to help support the Scholarship Foundation. Over $15,000 was raised for scholarships. Live Hawaiian entertainment and music was part of the beautiful summer's night. Thank you to the Golden Nugget of Atlantic City for a wonderful job.
