4 WEEKEND FOR WILDLIFE Join the Governor, First Lady, DNR Commissioner Mark Williams and the Georgia Natural Resources Foundation for the 30th annual Weekend for Wildlife, Jan at the Cloister Resort, Sea Island Experience the Georgia coast and her bountiful natural resources on trips led by ﬁeld experts. Enjoy a Friday night cocktail hour, private concert, and our silent auction rich in getaways, artwork, and unique ﬁnds. Weekend for Wildlife is one of the nation s most successful conservation events, raising more than $10 million since 2001 to conserve Georgia s prized natural resources. Through the Georgia Natural Resources Foundation, Weekend for Wildlife supports the mission of DNR, to sustain, enhance, protect and conserve Georgia s natural, historic and cultural resources for present and future generations. The 2018 Weekend will continue to provide valuable support for the DNR Wildlife Resources Division s Nongame Conservation Section, which depends largely on fundraisers, grants and direct contributions for its vital mission: conserving nongame species. These animals and plants include hundreds of special-concern species; they, and the habitats they depend on, enrich our lives, our economy and our future.

6 EVENT REGISTRATION To ﬁnd out more about this year s trips and register for the event, please visit: WEEKENDFORWILDLIFE.COM General Registration begins November 1, 2017 EVENT PRICING $850 ADULT REGISTRATION Per person $175 YOUTH REGISTRATION (Ages 4-16) The standard $850 registration includes a tax-deductible donation of $500 to the Georgia Natural Resources Foundation. Registration includes full access to weekend s festivities with the exception of the Friday night sponsor reception. To register, visit weekendforwildlife.com and follow the steps under General Registration. Conﬁrmation and cancellation Once registration is processed, conﬁrmation of your order and trip selection will be sent via and everyone will receive a follow up phone call. Please remember that trips are ﬁlled on a ﬁrst-come, ﬁrst-served basis. Every eﬀort will be made to schedule you for your ﬁrst-choice trips. Sea Island Reservations Hotel reservations must be made directly with Sea Island. Call and ask the Reservations Oﬃce for the Weekend for Wildlife room block. The nightly room-only rate for a single and double accomodations is $435.68, including taxes and the Resort Access Fee. This rate is guaranteed if reserved by 12/26/2017. It does not include other amenities, such as food or spa treatments. Most rooms can accommodate a family of up to four guests.
