2 HAINAN AND SANYA Location Hainan is well known as the luxury touristic and seaside destination of the Chinese. It is visited by thousands of businessmen and jet-setters, and it s the perfect place to live the luxury. Recent data show the extraordinary influx of tourists, totalizing 20.6 million of visitors, which has produced a revenue amounted to billion yuan (2.81 billion USD). 979,800 foreigners from Russia, Japan and South Korea. Just a couple of years later, in 2012, the record reached million tourists, including 663,000 foreigners. The trend is still increasing. 2

3 SANYA SHOPPING Hainan visitors also appreciate duty free shopping; it s no coincidence that the world s largest duty free opened here, and all the international luxury brands are widely present. GOLF AND WELLNESS Hainan is the new destination in the golf world. Island price is the Mission s Hill Golf Club, where the competition Omega World Cup takes place, with a record prize of $ 7.5 million. The island is a wellness destination too, with hot springs and resort specialized in treatments and traditional therapies. 4 HAINAN RENDEZ-VOUS Description In the previous editions, Hainan Rendez-Vous achieved resounding success: yachts, catamarans and superyachts have been the catalysts of the event, but not the only protagonists. Hainan Rendez-Vous hosts in fact many sectors, such as private aviation and luxury cars, fashion, accessories and luxury items, food. A show which attracts of thousands of end users in the luxury segment, including the richest millionaires and billionaires of China; it is obviously the ideal place where Italian companies, representing the excellence in style, design and taste, can profitably exhibit. Hainan Rendez Vous will be a showcase for the best Italian luxury companies who want to enter the Chinese market through the front door, as well as the right promotion time for the companies already present in China. THE AMOUNT SPENT TO ACHIEVE THIS RECORD? 102 BILLION $, SLIGHTLY LESS THAN HALF OF THE WORLDWIDE EXPENSE, 217 BILLION $. The data is significant, as it comes in a moment of weakness of the demand in such key markets. During the four days of the event, many conferences will take place, along with key-meetings, crucial to establish or strengthen relationships with the Chinese market. In 2015, more VVIP guests ( > 2 Million RMB= 250 Mln) will partecipate in (accounting for 20% by prediction). The VVIP guests who participated in 2014 HNRV are oriented as most potential buyers according with organizer, sponsor and business jet exhibitor. 8 HAINAN RENDEZ-VOUS Services NUMBER OF COMPANIES AND PROFILE Around 25 companies are scheduled to join the Italian Pavilion; each one having a dedicated area which will measure from 7,5 sqm (min.area) up to the desired size. According to specific needs of the exhibitor, areas of different measures could be provided, so long as it will be possible to agree on time with the architect studio for any changes on the project of the Pavilion. The selection of the participating companies in the Italian Pavilion will ensure, as far as possible, the exclusivity on products to be shown in the pavilion or, at least, will avoid the participation of companies with products in direct competition. The goal is to aggregate a set of companies with a wide range of products representing Italian excellence in the areas of Fashion, Furniture & Design, Food & Beverage. 12 ITALIAN PAVILION Project As a result of the growing interest from Chinese public for the Made in Italy, the organization of the fair has decided to dedicate a pavilion, the Italian Pavilion, only to the Italian companies operating in the following sectors: FASHION FURNITURE & DESIGN FOOD & BEVERAGE In the 2015 edition, Hainan Rendez-Vous will increase the presence of Italian companies of luxury, which will be hosted in the Italian Pavilion, an exclusive area designed by the famous architect Marco Casamonti ( THE 6TH EDITION OF RENDEZ- VOUS IS THEREFORE A KEY MOMENT FOR THE LUXURY SECTOR AND AN OPPORTUNITY TO ENTER OR GROW IN ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT MARKETS IN THE WORLD.
