2 Winners at our November Meeting This month s Members Draw was No 51 Eva & Keith Bergmerier and as they were present they received the cash for November. The prizes for this month s raffle where won by Brian Dear, David Marsh & Andrew Easton. Thank You to Ray & Kay Holding for donating the extra Orchid to the raffle. Congratulations to the winners and good luck to all in the next draw. In Our Thoughts Sad to hear of the passing of Norma Nelson and Fran Holland our deepest sympathy goes out to the Nelson Family and Maurice Holland and Family our thoughts are with you all. On a brighter note David Marsh has had his procedure and is moving forward our best wishes to David for the future. Updating the WWOS Constitution The WWOS committee has reviewed the information gathered by member Fay Tenison on recent changes to the Associations Incorporation Act presented at the last general meeting. A representitive of the Committee also consulted with the Office of Fair Trading and reported back to the Committee. After discussion, the Committee agreed that it is timely to update the WWOS constitution to ensure we are operating under the latest regulations by adopting the 2016 Model Constitution as published by the Office of Fair trading on their web site. For this change to occur, the Society members will be asked to vote on the Special Resolution at the next AGM after the new committee is elected. The Committee is therefore giving notice to all members that a Special Resolution that the WWOS adopt the 2016 Model Constitution as applies under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009, will be put at the next AGM of the WWOS held at 7.30 pm on 9 th February 2017 at the ARCC Hall, Tarcutta Street, Wagga Wagga. Members can view the 2016 Model Constitution on the WWOS web site, the NSW Government web site ( or obtain a hard copy at the next general meeting. The WWOS By-Laws will not alter as these were recently updated in 2012 and are also available on the WWOS web site. Christmas Party 2016 At the RSL Club on the 26 th of November A great night had by all who attended. Home Visits All over for this year. Please think about it for next year as it would be nice to see some of our other members Collections. And as it has been stated before your place does not have to look like something out of the House & Garden Magazine. A Big Thank You to all who contributed for the visits for Trading Table Keith Scott is selling bark and other products at the trading table, you can also pick them up at Keith & Margaret Scott s at 3 Mount Street Wagga Wagga give them a call first on Library Our Society has a very extensive collection of hard and soft cover publications with the latest magazines we subscribe to also, if you would like to borrow any please see Brian Dear on our meeting nights. The Three Rivers Orchid Show The date of our last meeting at Corowa was the Andrew, Travis, Anita & Myself representing Wagga Wagga with 15 in attendance all together. A very positive meeting. I will give a full report on the meeting at our December Meeting.

3 December Meeting At our December Meeting Andrew will be presenting the Show Trophy s from the 2016 Spring Show and 2015 Show Commerative Trophy s. Re potting Orchid s Janet Baumer has very generously offered her time to help any of our members with the re potting of their Orchids. The venue will be at Janet & Tony s 36 Overdale Drive Bourkland from 10am to 11-30am each Saturday morning you will need to let Janet know on if you are interested and she will let you know what you will be required to take. Merry Christmas All the committee take this opportunity to wish all our members a Very Merry Christmas and a Very Happy, Prosperous and Healthy New Year.
