It is standing at the entrance to the old town. Inside the building you will find the permanent exhibition The Power of Trade as well as historical ship models, suits of armor, weapons, legal instruments and merchandise that will give you a brief glimpse into the time of the Hanseatic League. The best view across Lübeck and the surrounding area can be seen from the 50- metre-high viewing platform - on a good day, you can even see as far as the Baltic Sea.
