Every successful registration will be confirmed in writing per . The total participation fee of the seminars must be transferred to our bank account (see the registration confirmation form after your successful application) within 14 working days after the registration confirmation. Otherwise the registration is invalid. Up to 14 days before the seminar, a handling charge of 70 is raised in case of cancellation of participation. Information on travel and accommodation As the Gongkwon Yusul Grandmaster Seminar is approaching, you probably wish to plan your stay. Therefore, we have gathered some information on travel and accommodation. We hope that this will be of some help to you. Arrival / Getting to Münster There are various international airports you may pick as your destination. Münster- Osnabrück (FMO) airport is closest to Münster, but serves only a very limited number of other international airports. You are more likely to arrive at Düsseldorf (DUS), Frankfurt (FRA), Berlin-Tegel (TXL) or Munich (MUC). Below, you can find a list of connections from the respective airport to Münster. We have tried to pick train connections which are served on a regular basis during the day, so that you do not have to worry about your exact arrival time too much. However, this means that there might be quicker/cheaper options available, depending on when exactly you wish to go. If you wish, you can look for other train connections yourself on the website of Deutsche Bahn (German Railways) or ask for more information at the so-called Travel Centers. These are located in the train stations, and you can also buy your tickets there. Note on the German railway system: There are several classes of trains. The regional trains carrying RB or RE in their name are the cheapest, but also slower as they serve many smaller 3

4 stations along the way. IC and ICE trains are faster (ICE usually being the fastest) and stop only at major stations, but are also more expensive. From different airports to Münster main train station (Münster Hauptbahnhof) Münster-Osnabrück airport is not served by trains. Instead, there is a bus connection (R51, D50 or S50) departing every half hour or an hourly basis between 7.04 am and 1.54 am. From Düsseldorf airport, there is several train connections (RE, IC, ERB) to Münster. Usually you need to change once to the train to Muenster on the way. The trip takes about 90 minutes. One way to get from Frankfurt airport to Münster is to take the train (ICE & IC) direct to Muenster or via Cologne or Mainz. The trip takes about 3 or 4 hours. If you are at Berlin-Tegel airport, you have to go by bus to Berlin main station first. From there, you can take an ICE to Hamm, where you can switch to an RE bound for Münster. This connection is taking approximately 4 or 5 hours in total. Munich airport is the furthest away from Münster. There is some train connection to Münster, but always via different routes, and the trip takes a full seven and a half hours. If you arrive at Munich airport, you may want to consider switching to a national flight to Münster-Osnabrück airport. These are available through Lufthansa and Air Berlin. From Münster main train station (Münster Hauptbahnhof) to your hotels The best way to arrive to your hotel is to get a taxi. It takes only 15 min. The hotel we recommend are very well accessible via bus too: the line 2 (departure bus stop: C1 at the main train station; arrival bus stop: Horstmarer Landweg, 160 m to hotel). It takes 26 min. Accommodation / Hotels in Münster For your stay in Münster, we will recommend some hotels. If you decide to stay at one of these hotels, you do not need to book the room yourself. We will take care of that. (see application form). The seminars will take place at the sports center (Sportzentrum) of Münster University (address: Horstmarer Landweg 86b, D Münster). In this case you can search another hotels, pensions and hostels on the website: Information on meals Every evening from Sunday 04 June to Tuesday 06 June we will go to a restaurant with all participants who are interested. We can have a good opportunity to discuss the future of Gongkwon Yusul with our Grandmaster Kang. Depending on what you eat, prices vary, but it will be around 25 EUR per person.
