2 IN FOCUS Shriram Mela , Pathredi Words of inspiration Leading from the front SPR organised a colourful mela at Bhiwadi on 24th February 2018 to mark the centenary celebrations of the company's founder Dr. Charat Ram. The mela was based on the theme of 'Badhte Kadam - Apno Ke Sang'. The invitees were welcomed in the traditional Rajasthani style by offering colourful pagdees (Rajasthani Turban). The mela was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Company Shri Pradeep Dinodia. The Rajasthani artists mesmerized the audience with their spellbinding performances of Ghumar and Kalbelia dances. The children enjoyed the swings, camel ride, puppet show, train ride, mickey mouse show, magic show, shooting and ring game. Shri A.K. Taneja (MD), R. Srinivasan, Luv D. Shriram, Meenakshi Das, V.K. Jaiswal, Devendra Mishra, Rakesh Anand, R.B. Sharma, Dilip Tiwari and Rajesh Chaudhary were also present on this occasion. 3 Leadership through Partnership IN FOCUS Guwahati Exhibition Honorable Minister visiting the SPR stall Shriram Pistons & Rings participated in 2nd ACMA Aftermarket Expo North East held on 16 & 17th December 2017 at Maniram Dewan Trade Centre, Guwahati. Considering the huge potential in the region and after a very successful ACMA Aftermarket Expo North East last year, SPR participated and showcased its product range and capabilities to the growing aftermarket of North East India. In all, it was a very successful participation that positioned Shriram Pistons and Rings as the market leader in its segment. The ever popular, 'Pistons' design stall was the talk of the exhibition, attracting a gamut of customers/channel partners. SPR also participated in this exhibition along with 35 Indian Companies. From SPR, Mr. Jenender Anand, Mr. Rajinder Kakroo & Mr. Ravi Pai participated in the exhibition and Mr. Devendra Sharma represented SAPL. The objective of SPR participation has always been to touch base with major OEMs, SPR Iran distributors in HCV, Cars, 2 wheelers and Truck segments and their wholesalers. In addition, our aim is to work on SPR brand building, enhance SPR brand awareness in the distribution channels, showcase our product range and strengths. The highlight was the launch of newly developed higher dia OM 457 pistons as CLPA and Volvo engine valves. Special focus was on 2 wheeler products for both Chinese and Indian motorcycles. Efforts were also made to push sales of Peugeot 405 car Cylinder Liner piston kits which were launched during the 2016 exhibition. 4 IN FOCUS Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd. (SPR) participated in the recently held Auto Expo 2018 from 8-12th February 2018 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. On display were SPR's large range of Pistons, Piston Rings, Pins & Engine Valves. Aftermarket Customers, Channel Partners & OEMs visited SPR stall and the Technical & Marketing Teams enthusiastically shared latest technologies and processes. The latest R&D initiatives were also shared with them. The visitors appreciated the wide range of display and the efforts being made in the field of New Product Development. In all, it was a very successful participation that further established Shriram Pistons as the market leader in its segment.
