1 Asian Conference on Nanoscience & Nanotechnology AsiaNANO 2018 The Final Announcement About Conference The 9th Asian Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, 2018 (AsiaNANO 2018) will be held between October 18-21, 2018 in Qingdao, China. This is the ninth conference in a series of Asian Conferences on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, which was initiated by Professors Masatsugu Shimomura, Zhongfan Liu, and Haiwon Lee. AsiaNANO conferences are devoted to new challenges and innovation in nanochemistry and nanomaterials, especially to encourage and promote collaboration in the Asian Research Network on Fusion Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. 2 PRESENTATION GUIDELINE Oral Presentation Please check the final programme for the exact schedule of your lecture. Each oral presentation will be minutes in total, including questions and discussions. Strict timekeeping will be essential for the smooth running of the conference. We suggest to use a minimum font of 24 pt for your presentation slides. Multi-media projector with personal computer will be available for presentations. Multi-media presentations should be prepared in Windows compatible format in English. In case that you need internet /special software for your presentation or if you have videos included into your file, please notify us in advance. The best ratio for your presentation would be 4:3. The presentation file should be pre-loaded in the conference computer before the session begins. Poster Presentation Poster sessions will be arranged on the poster area of the second floor in Convention & Exhibition Center at 18:00-20:00 on October Please refer to the program to find your poster number on the board. 1. Display board A display board with 120cm high by 90cm wide will be provided for each poster presentation. The poster can be mounted with adhesive bands, which will be provided at the registration site. 2. General Appearance Poster presentation should include the title, abstract, main text, figures and/or tables, diagrams and conclusions. Please include your contact data (names, institute, address, phone, fax, ). Use of color in the poster presentation makes visual communication more effective. Textual and graphic illustrations should be kept simple but effective. 3. Lettering All poster lettering should be typewritten. Since your poster will be read at distance of a couple of meters, use appropriate size lettering. 4. Set-up and Presentation Authors or their representative must be in attendance to set-up their display and to present their posters at the session time designated in the scientific program.

3 AsiaNANO Best Poster Awards BEST POSTER AWARD AsiaNANO 2018 will feature the Best Oral Presentation Award and Best Poster Award, which will be presented at the Closing Ceremony on Sunday, October 21. Four best oral presentations and twenty to thirty best posters will be selected by the Scientific Committee of AsiaNANO 2018 during the conference. The AsiaNANO Best Oral Presentation Awards are sponsored by Institute of Physics (IOP), UK. The AsiaNANO Best Poster Awards are sponsored by Science Bulletin, ACS Nano, Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), Nanoscale, Nanoscale Advances, Nanoscale Horizons, Biomaterials Science, etc. Welcome Reception SOCIAL PROGRAMS October 18, 2018 Time: 18:00 20:00 Venue: Convention & Exhibition Center, Second Floor, AB All delegates and accompanying persons are cordially invited to the welcome reception.
