14 WAAS (USA & Canada) WAAS: As of May 24, 2018 in USA & Canada: 3,909 LPV APCH proc. serving 1,900 airports 1,138 of these airports are Non-ILS airports 1,020 LPV 200 (200 HAT) 661 LP APCH. proc. serving 495 airports ± 73% of total airports served with LPV FAA target is to implement LPV in all qualified airports 157 Canadian airports 14
15 GAGAN RNP-01 since December 2013 and APV-1 since April 2015 There are studies for expansion to the Indo- China and the Australian FIRs. First LPVs at 6 airports ongoing (12 LPVs). Inspection aircraft retrofitted and under certification. Obstacle surveyance completed at 45 airports GAGAN Service APV Mandate: The National Civil Aviation Policy (NCAP- 2016), announced by the government in June, makes it mandatory for all aircraft registered in India to be GAGAN-enabled by Jan. 1, 2019.
