Domingo del Santísimo Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo Sed todos, hermanos y hermanas, bienvenidos a nuestra Eucaristía. Es el día de Corpus Christi, como se dice en su denominación latina.

Y la prueba máxima de ese amor es la presencia permanente de Jesús, el Maestro, en el sacramento de la Eucaristía por voluntad de la Trinidad Santísima.

La comunión del Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo nos acompaña todos los días, pero hoy lo celebramos especialmente comoprueba directa de nuestro agradecimiento ante tal milagro, siempre vivo y presente.

7 Domingo del Santísimo Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo Sed todos, hermanos y hermanas, bienvenidos a nuestra Eucaristía. Es el día de Corpus Christi, como se dice en su denominación latina. Celebramos, pues la Solemnidad del Santísimo Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo Sabemos Cristo nos lo ha dicho que Dios es amor. Y la prueba máxima de ese amor es la presencia permanente de Jesús, el Maestro, en el sacramento de la Eucaristía por voluntad de la Trinidad Santísima. Con ello, Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo forman parte de este prodigio maravilloso, que todo un Dios esté en un poco de pan, en un poco de vino. La comunión del Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo nos acompaña todos los días, pero hoy lo celebramos especialmente comoprueba directa de nuestro agradecimiento ante tal milagro, siempre vivo y presente. Aprovechemos el día para, por supuesto, festejar al Sacramento del Altar, pero también para hacer una Jornada de Caridad, de amor y solidaridad, para con los hermanos, sobre todo para los más necesitados, los débiles, los indefensos La primera lectura de hoy procede del capítulo 24 del Libro del Éxodo. Y nos narra como Moisés, mediante la sangre de unas vacas, fórmula de sacrificio, confirma la alianza del pueblo judío con Dios. Después, la sangre de Cristo confirmará la nueva alianza que dura para siempre. El Salmo 147 uno de los últimos del salterio tiene dos partes bien diferenciadas y por eso la Vulgata lo dividió en dos. Nosotros utilizamos hoy la segunda parte en la que se exalta el poder y la misericordia de Dios, el creador y salvador del género humano, que ayuda a los más pobres y los sinceramente humildes. Escucharemos ahora en nuestra segunda lectura unas palabras muy bellas y certeras del capítulo 9 de la Carta a los Hebreos. Y es que nadie como el autor de esta Carta ha reflejado mejor el papel sacerdotal y sacrificial de Jesús, el Mesías. Y es que la sangre de Cristo, vertida por nuestros pecados, purificará para siempre a los redimidos y por Él y, asimismo, purificará las conciencias de quienes con entrega y sinceridad siguen su camino. El fragmento del Evangelio de San Marcos que se proclama a continuación narra con precisión y maestría el momento de la Instauración del Sacramento de la Eucaristía. Las palabras de Jesús que nos muestra Marcos han sido, desde hace muchos siglos, la fórmula litúrgica en el momento de la consagración: Esto es mi cuerpo. Esta es mi sangre QUE ME ATREVA, CUÁNTO PUEDA SEÑOR A manifestar, en este vacío mundo, que Tú lo puedes llenar todo cuando, el hombre y la mujer de este tiempo, busque en la profundidad (y no en la superficialidad) el Agua Viva que calma la sed de una vez por todas. Bendito, Señor, sea tu nombre! Bendita, Señor, sea tu presencia! Grande, Señor, sea tu reinado en el corazón del hombre! Única y para Ti, Señor, sea nuestra adoración! Tuyos, siempre tuyos Señor, en este día en el que tu Cuerpo y tu Sangre hacen de innumerables rincones de nuestra tierra un inmenso altar desde el cual hablas, miras, callas, observas, lloras y bendices.
