All tamariki will need a t-shirt, shorts, running shoes if possible and a water bottle. Kura Uniform Some tamariki are coming to Kura in no Kura uniform at all. Parents send a note explaining why or ring and inform the Tari ( ). There are also some tamariki wearing dirty, smelly uniform. Please whānau Please make sure you name your children's clothing/towels/uniforms. It is difficult to locate lost uniforms when they are not named. If your child/ren have someone else s name on their uniform, please return them to the kaiako. Feel free to come in to kura to look for uniforms and clothes. Year 12 60 60 credits to complete NCEA 3 Year 13 University Entrance 14 credits from each of the 3 approved subjects at Level 3. Sports Focus: Basketball and Fitness are the key focus this term.

Te Rangi Āniwaniwa students have been competing in the Northland Basketball Tournament held in Whangarei. The schools that are participating in the tournament are: Kaitaia, Kamo, Kaikohe, Whangarei, Otamatea, Broadway and Whangaruru College. Te Rangi Āniwaniwa Senior Girls were successful in winning two out of three games. They have qualified to compete in the basketball finals which will be held this Thursday 13th August. Great effort Mareikura ( Te Reinga, Ngarimu, Autumn, Ngahuka, Waitui, Hine-mihiata, Pani, Edwina, Rebecca). Thank you Whaea Pani for driving our girls down. Māori Performing Arts: year10 Tuesday 11th August - 4:30pm to 7pm Wharekura Kapa Haka Practice: Monday 10th August - Overnight Academic: Students are working towards preparing themselves for assessments week 5 through to week 8. All students have homework to do. Revision, study, reading and editing.
