2 How to get your wig You are entitled to a wig if your treatment causes you hair loss. You can obtain your free wig voucher from the cancer information centre at The Christie at Withington located on the glass corridor. The information centres in The Christie at Oldham and The Christie at Salford also issue wig vouchers. You will need your hospital number, name and address. You do not need to make an appointment for this. Your voucher allows you to choose, free of charge, one wig from a specific range of wigs. This service includes consultation, fitting and styling. If you wish to choose a wig from a more expensive range, you can use your Christie voucher and pay the extra amount on top to cover the cost. You can arrange an appointment to see one of our specialists from Dimples in our wig room at The Christie or visit one of our listed salons. Please remember that you need your wig voucher first. Our specialist cannot see you without a voucher. If these locations or opening hours are unsuitable for you, or perhaps you are unable to attend due to your health, then please contact Dimples head office for further advice.
