2 This two-day urolithiasis workshop will give a comprehensive overview of stone disease, diagnosis, metaphylaxis, medical and surgical treatment. The workshop will be conducted by an international reputed faculty under the umbrella of the EAU Section of Urolithiasis (eulis-eau) with support of the EAU Section of Urological Technology (ESUT). On the first day, the workshop will be held at the state-of-the-art surgical simulation centre at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel/ London (home of Jack the Ripper and the Elephant Man) where participants will have the opportunity to lay their hands on virtual PCNL access, rigid and flexible URS, and stone fragmentation devices. On the second day, participants will experience LIVE demonstrations of SWL, flexible URS, and prone/ supine PCNL in the brand-new operating theatres and the lithotripsy suite at St. Bartholomew s Hospital in the heart of London. We will deliberately keep the number of participants small to allow for intensive dialogue between participants and faculty, and for an enhanced hands-on experience in small groups. 2
